Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action held their lobby day in Olympia, WA on Feb. 10th, 2015. On hand to cover the manufactured PR stunt was Laughing At Liberals.

The day started off at a church near the capitol building, where they bussed in activists, handed out their manufactured signs and propaganda talking points, and where they only wanted their own media present, as Bloomberg/Everytown organizer Meera Bhardwaj ejects LaughingAtLiberals.   Continue reading “Moms Demand Action Lobby Day Gets Crashed”

Why Are The Feds Obsessed With Seizing These People's Old Trucks?Jalopnik – by Patrick George

Jennifer Brinkley had a typical summer morning planned on July 15: get up, get dressed, and take her son to tennis practice. That changed when six body armor-clad Department of Homeland Security agents and local police officers showed up at her North Carolina home and blocked her driveway. They were there because of an arbitrary law promulgated 26 years ago to guard the prerogatives — and profits —of automakers and car dealers. Specifically, they were there to take Brinkley’s truck.1   Continue reading “Why Are The Feds Obsessed With Seizing These People’s Old Trucks?”

If your body were a house, protein would be the nails and screws that hold it together.

And when a crisis hits your “house,” you need to weather the storm. The protein that keeps everything running smoothly today needs to be constantly replenished so your house will stand tomorrow.

Your body is constantly burning energy. Protein triggers the chemical reactions needed to keep your metabolism running smoothly. You need protein to properly support your body and protect it against viruses. You also need it to help regulate your insulin level.   Continue reading “Why Protein Is Important In Your Diet”

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius–and a lot of courage–to move in the opposite direction.”

When I moved to Seattle in 1996, I had thought I knew how to order a cup of coffee: “I’ll have a cup of coffee please.” Soon I realized that it was more complicated: “I’ll have a Venti soy dolce latte, topped with sprinkled cinnamon and caramel drawing on whip cream, with coffee on the side please.” Referring to the US government is increasingly becoming as challenging as ordering coffee in Seattle: “Petro-imperial, coal-fired, plutocratic, oligarchic, inverted totalitarian, fascist, propagandist Big Brother, with democracy on the side.” Things are beginning to simplify though. Soon you’ll be able to refer to the US government with one single word–the Borg.   Continue reading “The US Government Is Metamorphosing Into the Borg”

The cost of educating the tens of thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) who poured across our borders in the spring and summer of 2014 is having a continued effect on the cost — and quality — of public education. A new report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which campaigns for an end to illegal immigration, focuses on the negative effects the greatly increased number of students enrolled in English proficiency classes is having on seven school districts in the Washington, D.C., metro area.   Continue reading “Cost of Illegal Immigrant Students Hits School Budgets”

President Obama has repeatedly said that U.S. troops would not be sent into harm’s way to fight ISIS and those who are in the region are there to only provide training and advisory support.

But what would happen if Islamic State militants were to directly attack a military base housing several hundred American troops?

Would that be justification enough to put American boots on the ground?   Continue reading “BREACH: Over 300 U.S. Marines Under Siege, Prepare To Defend Against Islamic States Attackers In Iraq”
