Greece has revealed it will introduce a surcharge for all cashpoint withdrawals and financial transactions in a desperate attempt to prevent citizens withdrawing their money from the country’s beleaguered banks.

A Maryland police officer is facing several charges after allegedly biting a man’s testicles during a bar fight Tuesday.
According to Baltimore police, the incident unfolded shortly after 31-year-old off-duty cop Michael Flaig, a 10-year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department, began groping a female during the bar’s Cinco de Mayo celebration. Founded in 2010, Sanevax is an international clearinghouse of information and advocacy concerning one of big pharma’s most corrupt and dangerous profit-generating schemes: the HPV vaccine. Amazingly, the HPV vaccine is recommended by several governments as a preventative to cervical cancer. Yet there is no evidence that HPV is in any way related to such cancer. Last week, folks who are particular about what they eat rejoiced that there was finally a place that they could go get a taco without being exposed to genetically modified organisms. Chipotle, the popular Mexican fast food chain, announced that their menu would be free of GMOs.
In an immediate paroxysm of denial, the corporate-funded media immediately went about bashing Chipotle for the company’s decision to provide consumers with a GMO-free option to the Big Agri/Big Food offerings out there. WASHINGTON, May 6 (UPI) — A federal audit has found that some employees at the Pentagon used government-issued credit cards to pay for things like gambling and prostitutes, a source close to the investigation reportedly said.

Former Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay came up with a novel way to remove his daughter’s loose tooth. He tied it with a piece of dental floss, before attaching it to his javelin. As the javelin flew away, so did the tooth…

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities are investigating the damage left behind by spring storms carrying more than a dozen suspected tornadoes that swept across the southern Plains, bringing floods, forcing the evacuation of an international airport and destroying homes near Oklahoma City.
At least 12 people were injured, but no deaths were immediately reported from the twisters that also hit rural parts of Texas, Kansas and Nebraska on Wednesday night. The Oklahoma City area seemed to be the hardest hit. A twister destroyed homes in Grady County, southwest of the city, and it appeared another tornado touched down in the area later Wednesday evening when a second storm came through. HONOLULU (AP) — About a dozen women arrested over the weekend in a Honolulu prostitution sting at massage parlors won’t be charged with prostitution. Instead, they face the more severe charge of sex assault.
If convicted, the women would have to register as sex offenders and could spend up to a year in jail, while a prostitution charge carries just 30 days. The new tactic from the Honolulu Police Department is extremely unusual for a law enforcement agency, said legal experts and advocates for prostitutes. BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities are looking for a teen who wanted a date with Destiny and hoped to get it by spray-painting a prom proposal on an Idaho cliffside.
The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/1GYk3Us ) that the message “Destiny, Prom?” was painted in large pink and blue letters on the side of the Black Cliffs, in a popular rock climbing spot, east of Boise. RALEIGH, N.C. – More than a dozen law enforcement officers, including 11 in North Carolina, have been arrested in a government sting that included the FBI, the government announced Thursday.
Thomas Walker, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District, said multiple people were arrested Thursday morning in a major sting of cocaine and heroin operations. Those arrested include five current members of the Northampton County sheriff’s office. They were charged with trafficking cocaine and heroin up and down the I-95 corridor. Gear Layering
What is gear layering? Gear layering is arranging equipment in lines, layers, and levels, to achieve the same thing. It is a technique for prioritizing the carriage of the most essential gear for the specific job over gear that may still be important, but not as high on the priority list as other items. Many sources divided their levels of gear into 3 or 4 layers. DTG recommends and uses 3 layers.

A U.S. district judge Tuesday dismissed a lawsuit filed by a Pembroke Pines man against a veteran police officer who shot him in the abdomen nearly five years ago while he was in the throes of a convulsion.
Abel Martinez was experiencing a seizure for the first time in his life inside his southeast Pembroke Pines home on June 10, 2010, and was acting erratically when Officer Kevin King arrived. Martinez lunged at the officer and King shot him. District Judge Robin L. Rosenberg ruled that King’s use of force was reasonable under the circumstances. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) on Wednesday said President Obama was working to force the socialist “ideology of Karl Marx” on the country.
