Citing a lack of candor by the government in its court papers, a federal judge has ordered the return of $167,000 seized from a Hawaiian man’s motor home during a traffic stop near Elko.

State and local law enforcement officers stopped Straughn Gorman twice within 50 minutes in January 2013 as he was driving the motor home west on Interstate 80 between Wells and Elko, according to court documents.   Continue reading “Judge orders return of $167,000 seized by authorities on the highway”

Lemons have always been cherished for their significant medicinal qualities. The ancient people of India, China and Mesopotamia regularly used lemons to treat a wide variety of medical conditions, while the ancient Egyptians took advantage of the fruit’s antiseptic qualities and embalmed their mummies in its juices. Later, in 15th century Europe, lemons were recognized as the perfect cure for scurvy.   Continue reading “The many health benefits of drinking lemon water”

Sitting in his surgical gown inside a large medical suite in Reston, Va., a Vienna man prepared for his colonoscopy by pressing record on his smartphone, to capture the instructions his doctor would give him after the procedure.

But as soon as he pressed play on his way home, he was shocked out of his anesthesia-induced stupor: He found that he had recorded the entire examination and that the surgical team had mocked and insulted him as soon as he drifted off to sleep.   Continue reading “Anesthesiologist trashes sedated patient — and it ends up costing her”

With a 60-38 vote, the Senate adopted the law giving President Obama the power to “fast-track” talks on free-trade pacts such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) after months of fierce debate in both houses of the Congress.

Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), as the measure is called, means that Congress will only get to vote up or down on the treaties in question once they are finalized by the White House, without the ability to offer amendments.   Continue reading “Senate puts Obama on fast-track to TPP”

I’m sad to say that two prominent doctors in the “alternative medicine” world have died in the past few days. The first is the accomplished, well known and much loved Dr. Jeffrey Bradstreet, who formerly lived here on the East Coast of Florida. He then moved to our neighboring state, Georgia. Fox Carolina is reporting that his body was found in a river in North Carolina and that he died of an apparent “self inflicted gunshot wound to the chest“.

The funeral is in Shelby, North Carolina. Shelby is a small town of 20k people, and the same town where they just apprehended the Charleston South Carolina mass church killer Dylann Roof around the time of Dr. Bradstreet’s death. Some doctors are reading this tonight and writing me that they find it suspicious and are concerned. I too am concerned, as my other half is a prominent controversial doctor as well. I suspect we’ll know more as the investigation continues.   Continue reading “Famous Autism Researcher, Dr. Jeff Bradstreet Found In River – Suicide By Gunshot to Chest?”

Are human beings becoming social constructs?

Populations are undergoing a quiet revolution. We can cite some of the reasons: television; education; job training and employment requirements; the Surveillance State; government organizations who follow a “zero tolerance” policy; inundation with advertising.

It’s all geared to produce people who are artificial constructs.   Continue reading “Bill Gates: the new Pavlov”

The phrase ‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’ could not hit any harder, especially when it comes to the present discussion related to cancer and our present state of nutrition and health. I do understand that venturing into this discussion may be touchy due to the fact that we have only allowed medical doctors to dictate the present cases, acceptable cures and latest treatments regarding cancer; while the everyday citizen without a medical degree has succumbed to it and the fact that they wake up one day and discover they (we) have cancer in some form or another. As a nutritionist I feel that it is my duty to open up the discussion to everyone here; discussing healing through nutrition hasn’t been made illegal (yet).   Continue reading “Vitamin B17: The Greatest Cover-Up In The History Of Cancer”

Edinburg, TX — A video posted to YouTube this week shows that filming police is not always a solemn experience — it can be funny too.

A Texas cop was caught in a ridiculously compromising and cartoonish situation. The state trooper somehow managed to become stuck in the window of his patrol car.

In a true ‘WTF’ moment, the passersby capture the officer flailing about in a frantic effort to free himself from the grip — of his window.   Continue reading “Filming Cops Just Got Hilarious. Somehow this Cop Managed to Get Himself Stuck in his Window”

One of the consistent themes when military members read and comment on articles focused on the very controversial and unprecedented Jade Helm 15 exercises slated to take place between July and September in multiples states, with some listed as “hostile,” where training is listed as “unconventional warfare,” is the common refrain “come on, do you really think we would ever fire on Americans!!!”

This is said with quite a bit of understandable outrage, after all, our men and women in the armed forces join to protect Americans and their oath is to defend our constitutional from enemies foreign and domestic.   Continue reading “Jade Helm Military Participants Claim They Would Not Fire on Americans But They Have Been Programmed To Do Just That For Years”

Frederick Farris, the father of Keaton Farris, who died in US police custody, told RT patients with mental health problems need better supervision. His bi-polar son died from a lack of food and water with Farris Sr. saying he was treated as a “subhuman.”

The Pentagon has released a book of instructions on the “law of war,” detailing acceptable ways of killing the enemy. The manual also states that journalists can be labeled “unprivileged belligerents,” an obscure term that replaced “enemy combatant.”

The 1,176-page “Department of Defense Law of War Manual” explains that shooting, exploding, bombing, stabbing, or cutting the enemy are acceptable ways of getting the job done, but the use of poison or asphyxiating gases is not allowed.   Continue reading “Pentagon rewrites ‘Law of War’ declaring ‘belligerent’ journalists as legitimate targets”

ATLANTA (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley called for removing the Confederate battle flag that flies in front of her state’s Capitol. But she hasn’t said the Confederate veterans’ monument alongside the flag should go.

Nor has she called for moving a nearby statue of Benjamin Tillman, an unapologetic white supremacist who served as governor and U.S. senator during the early decades of Jim Crow segregation. Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley hasn’t said anything definitive this week about the 88-foot-tall Confederate monument — complete with four Confederate banners — that sits outside his office.   Continue reading “Confederate, Jim Crow tributes go well beyond battle flag”
