Like clockwork, the Chattanooga shooting produced the same results as every other mass shooting in recent memory. The gun grabbers came out of the woodwork, demanding more restrictions and regulations for gun sellers and owners. The gun culture promptly responded by, you guessed it, buying more guns. Within hours after the shooting, gun store owners experienced a surge in sales, and Barack Obama won another award for “gun salesman of the year” before he even had a chance to open his mouth.   Continue reading “Firearm Production Has More than Doubled Since Obama Took Office”

Hillary Clinton posted a photo of herself shaking hands with a potential voter to her Twitter account, but it was quickly removed after her followers became upset, and it’s likely due to the interesting tattoo he had on his arm.

The Democratic front-runner for the 2016 presidential election was at a campaign stop in New Hampshire on July 3, walking the streets and meeting likely voters outside of an ice cream parlor, BuzzFeed reported. During her walk, her campaign said that she met and shook hands with quite a number of people, but one in particular caused an issue.   Continue reading “Hillary Clinton Shakes Hands With Voter & Deletes Picture, Tattoo Says It All”

It’s a hot summer for the gun industry.

Background checks for gun sales spiked 11% in June compared to last year, making it the busiest June ever, according to the FBI’s background check data.

Last month the FBI conducted nearly 1.53 million background checks, which are required for all in-store purchases, but not for sales at gun shows or between individuals. That’s the highest volume of checks in June since 1999, when the FBI started keeping track.   Continue reading “Gun sales spike in June”

With each horrific mass shooting, liberals are chomping at the bit to immediately slam law-abiding gun owners with stricter legislation, as if those who don’t abuse their right to bear arms are to blame. However, as every new bill pushes us one step closer to the paranoid left’s ultimate goal of banning these particular weapons altogether, the inconvenient facts and statistics begin creeping up that shatter the argument that guns are the problem.   Continue reading “Map Of FBI Stats Shows Gun Ownership Per State — No. 1 Is Surprising”

Wishing it was true doesn’t make it true–it makes you a chump who fell for the con.

Once upon a time in America, no adult could survive without possessing a finely tuned BS detector. Herman Melville masterfully captured America’s fascination with cons and con artists in his 1857 classic The Confidence-Man, which I discussed in The Con in Confidence (October 4, 2006).   Continue reading “If Your BS Detector Isn’t Shrieking, It’s Broken”
