LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– The Larimer County Health Department confirmed that a teen died from the plague earlier this month.
Taylor Gaes died on June 8, most likely from fleas on a dead rodent or other animal on the family acreage.

OWASSO — Officer Mike Denton has been confirmed to have beat a citizen with a shotgun over and over again after new footage was released from a dashcam.
He has been placed on paid suspension.

A state board revoked the license of a former U.S. Army doctor on Friday, finding that he plied students with hypnotic drugs during battlefield-trauma training and performed dangerous procedures, including intentionally inducing shock.
The doctor, John Henry Hagmann, was cited for training he provided in 2012 and 2013 in Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado and Great Britain. Students testified on Friday that Hagmann also performed penile nerve blocks and instructed them to insert catheters into one another’s genitals. An open-access website called fotoforensics.com analyzes digital images to detect potential alteration. One of the techniques offered at the site is Error Level Analysis.
According to the site’s tutorial on ELA:
Error Level Analysis (ELA)permits identifying areas within an image that are at different compression levels. With JPEG images, the entire picture should be at roughly the same level. Police Officer Daryle Holloway, New Orleans Police Department, Louisiana
Police Officer Daryle Holloway was shot and killed at approximately while transporting a prisoner to the Central Lockup at approximately 8:00 am.
The prisoner had been arrested for aggravated assault earlier during the previous shift. He had been handcuffed behind his back but managed to maneuver his arms to the front of his body. He then crawled through the vehicle’s partition and began struggling with Officer Holloway. Officer Holloway was shot during the ensuing struggle, causing his vehicle to crash into a utility pole near the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Elysian Fields Avenue. The FBI is investigating a website that appears to contain a manifesto by the white supremacist Dylann Roof, who is suspected of shooting dead nine black churchgoers in South Carolina.
The provenance of the website, which contains a cache of photographs of the 21-year-old, some in which he holds firearms and others in which he stands beside the Confederate flag, has not been confirmed. Columbus, OH — A four-year-old girl in the Whitehall neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio is in stable condition at a hospital after being shot by a police officer.
According to 10 TV, a police officer was responding to a call around 3pm Friday when a family in the vicinity started calling for medical help.

In previous letters (sections 1 & 2), I wrote how Barack Obama used fraudulent and ineligible documents to justify his presidential eligibility, though he knew full well he was deliberately deceiving America. I also pointed out that neither the Hawaiian Governor, Neil Abercrombie, nor the Hawaiian Hospital, Kapiolani Medical Center, which Obama claimed to be his birth hospital, would confirm that he was born there. More than 240 individuals—including doctors, nurses, and other licensed professionals—were arrested this week for their alleged participation in Medicare fraud schemes involving approximately $712 million in false billings.
The arrests, which began Tuesday, were part of a coordinated operation in 17 cities by Medicare Fraud Strike Force teams, which include personnel from the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and local law enforcement. Three GOP senators are demanding Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials explain how 156 undocumented immigrant criminals “incredibly” managed to become repeat offenders — yet were never deported.
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, who chairs the Senate’s Judiciary Committee, reports ICE has disclosed that of 33,007 illegal immigrants with criminal records released from government custody in 2013, 1,000 were convicted of additional crimes — and 156 were then re-arrested and re-released a second time instead of getting deported. A New York prison has prevented an escape involving 64 bed sheets in the course of conducting a lengthy investigation into contraband smuggling. Police also uncovered a corrupt “shopping network” deeply embedded in the facility.
The convict suspected of planning the escape, Ernest Murphy, fell victim to a cell inspection that took place after prison authorities dismantled a drug ring being run inside. He was awaiting trial at the Clinton maximum-security prison in Dannemora on a charge of attempted murder, but it looks like the wait was too long for him – enough to want to climb down 11 stories to make it to freedom, according to the AP.
