At least five children received improper immunization shots from a clinic in New Jersey, revealed a state compliance audit of the Shots for Tots program released on Saturday. The statement comes from Salem County, which runs the clinic, according to NJ.com.

The five children who received the incurred medications were: two children who were injected with expired vaccines; one child who received the flu mist dose but was under the recommended age; one boy who received the Gardasil injection; and one child who received a vaccine that officials have not yet determined. Paris (AFP) – Astronomers proposed a novel explanation Monday for the strange appearance of the comet carrying Europe’s robot probe Philae through outer space: alien microscopic life.

While the United States celebrated Independence Day, two pairs of Russian bombers flew off the coast of California and Alaska — forcing the Air Force to scramble fighter jets to intercept both flights, two senior defense officials tell Fox News.

The first incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. ET on July 4 off the coast of Alaska, Fox News is told. I’m no financial expert, but I don’t think that tightening up the budget was really what they were turning down.

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The reclusive beekeeper who co-founded Burt’s Bees, and whose face and wild beard appeared on labels for the natural cosmetics, died on Sunday. Burt Shavitz was 80.

A spokeswoman for Burt’s Bees said in an emailed statement Shavtiz died of respiratory complications in Bangor, Maine, surrounded by family and friends. Shavitz was a hippie making a living by selling honey when his life was altered by a chance encounter with a hitchhiking Roxanne Quimby. KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) — The fugitive leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army is sickly and in retreat from an international manhunt that includes U.S. forces, a Ugandan military spokesman said Monday, citing the accounts of recent defectors who are backing up reports that the rebel group is in decline.

Joseph Kony is possibly suffering from diabetes, according to defectors who surrendered to Ugandan troops last month in Central African Republic, said Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda. COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — While it appears there is broad support in the South Carolina Legislature to bring down the Confederate flag, the depth of that support will get its first test this week as lawmakers return to Columbia to come up with a specific plan.

The General Assembly returns Monday to discuss Gov. Nikki Haley’s budget vetoes and what to do with the rebel flag that has flown over some part of the Statehouse for more than 50 years. A county official and three other people were found dead at a house in South Carolina on Sunday afternoon, according to reports.

Supreme Court says corporate entities cannot be used to evade Constitution

Reader C., whose primary focus is Home Owners Associations et al., send us the following, wherein it appears a Supreme Court decision involving AMTRAK should also apply to HOA issues.

But wait – shouldn’t it also apply to “Corp. US”…?
