coon v python 1Guns America – by DAVE HIGGINBOTHAM

Comparing a Coonan .357 Magnum to an old Colt Python may not seem like a logical paring. The Coonan is in production now. The Python is not. And in this specific case, I’m looking at a compact Coonan and a stretched out Python. Clearly it isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison. The only similarity is the .357 Magnum round. Every other aspect of the guns is markedly different. At stake here is something much more than the Coonan V Python question; this is the revolver pitted against the automatic.   Continue reading “.357 Shoot-off-Coonan Vs. Python”

On November 21, 2014, President Obama declared a unilateral executive amnesty for about five million illegal immigrants. This action was not within President Obama’s constitutional authority.  But in early March 2015, after promising strong opposition to this unlawful amnesty,  Republican Speaker John Boehner of the U.S. House and Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell of the U.S. Senate and their leadership teams essentially joined the Obama Administration and 100 percent of the Democrats in Congress to block conservative Republican attempts to defund it. Boehner and McConnell actively worked to secure enough Republican votes to assure Obama could have his amnesty. Thus a great outrage against the Constitution and the American people was allowed to begin its course to change the nation from a center-right political majority to a center-left political majority relentlessly pursuing a radical left social and economic majority with only token conservative opposition in the foreseeable future.   Continue reading “Nine Million More Immigrant Voters by 2016? U.S. officials said Monday that President Obama will nominate Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford Jr. as the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

A combat-hardened commander, Dunford led the Afghanistan war coalition during a key transition in 2013-2014 and has served as an infantry officer at all levels.

The move cuts short Dunford’s service as the commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, a job he began last October. But the rapid promotion is one of several that have marked Dunford’s fast-tracked military career, which saw him leap from a one-star brigadier general to four stars in about three years.   Continue reading “Marine General Joseph Dunford chosen as Joint Chiefs chairman”

A young man in handcuffsThe Guardian – by Ed Pilkington

The idea that police officers should use handcuffs and leg shackles to control an unruly individual is hardly unusual in the US, where fondness for the use of metal restraints runs through the criminal justice system.

What is unusual is when the individual in question is five years old, and the arrest takes place in an elementary school.   Continue reading “New York state police handcuff and shackle ‘combative’ five-year-old”

The second gunman suspected in the attack on a free speech event in Garland, Texas, has been identified as Nadir Soofi, the roommate of the previously identified attacker Elton Simpson, according to several reports. Both men reportedly lived together in Phoenix.

While Simpson was reportedly known by the FBI and convicted in 2010 for lying to authorities about plans to travel to Africa, Soofi was apparently not under surveillance by law enforcement or widely known.   Continue reading “Second Suspected Gunman in Attack on Free Speech Event in Texas Identified”

A group at NASA’s Johnson Space Center has successfully tested an electromagnetic (EM) propulsion drive in a vacuum – a major breakthrough for a multi-year international effort comprising several competing research teams. Thrust measurements of the EM Drive defy classical physics’ expectations that such a closed (microwave) cavity should be unusable for space propulsion because of the law of conservation of momentum.   Continue reading “Evaluating NASA’s Futuristic EM Drive”

Are you ready for a “Long Hot Summer”? The prospects for urban riots are hyped as a breach of domestic security. The mass propaganda media does not waste a moment to ratchet up the tension and fear that torching neighborhoods will come to a community in your area. If people were able to apply critical thinking, they would realize that local incidents are being managed to increase and spread discontent nationwide. That asphalt jungle is paved with assault vehicles moving into place before your own eyes. The purpose is to manage disorder with the imposition of military tactics. As urban fires burn, advocates of an authoritarian police state implement their   master plan for the final destruction of America.   Continue reading “Urban Military Martial Law”

This is the final installment of our personal stance-series (Part 1, Part 2)

Today we will discuss rucksacks, the uses for vehicles, and specialty gear you may want to consider.  Keep in mind: these are ideas to provide you with food for thought.  They are not rules set in stone, nor are they foolproof.  What I detail works for me, and I will give you reasons for things not immediately self-explanatory so that you may weigh them in the decisions you make for yourself.   Continue reading “A Green Beret’s Guide To Basics and Priorities: Rucksacks, Vehicles and Specialty Gear”

Orlando, FL — The Orlando police department fired one of their own on Friday after an internal investigation concluded that an officer violated two department regulations when he opened fire on a fleeing man.

Officer David Johnston opened fire and squeezed off 23 rounds at a man inside a parking garage. The suspect was on the other side of iron gates, posed no threat whatsoever to Johnston, and was 90 feet away.   Continue reading “Florida Cop Fired After Video Shows him Unload AR-15 on Fleeing Man that He Couldn’t Even See”

Texas Legislators Attempt to Give Federal Reserve Guards Arrest PowersTruthstream Media

Truthstream received a message last week from Rep. Jonathan Stickland about his efforts to filibuster and delay this potentially dangerous transfer of power to none other than the Federal Reserve banking system.

Bill H.B. 2346 would grant commissioned officers of the Federal Reserve some of the powers given to sworn peace officers – including powers of arrest, search and seizure – in matters taking place on Federal Reserve property or, more broadly, in matters related to the Fed.   Continue reading “Texas Legislators Attempt to Give Federal Reserve Guards Arrest Powers”

engineNatural News – by Mike Adams

For the last six months, I have been working hard on the development of a breakthrough search engine that will finally offer a credible search alternative to the NSA-funded, surveillance-state search engines currently dominating the web.

Next week, I’ll be opening the webmaster URL submit page for the world’s first independent, anti-propaganda search engine that filters out corporate propaganda and government disinformation. The search engine is free to submit to and free to use. It’s funded entirely by advertising that appears on the search results page.   Continue reading “World’s first anti-propaganda search engine launching soon that favors Independent Media while banning government and corporate disinfo”

Governor Alejandro Garcia Padilla of Puerto Rico signed an executive order yesterday legalizing medical marijuana in the U.S. territory. The order enables the Puerto Rican Health Department to authorize the use of marijuana and its derivatives for medical purposes. The Health Secretary now has three months to produce a report etching out the details of the new system. In 2013, a medical marijuana bill was introduced into the Puerto Rican legislature but remains stuck in the House of Representatives.   Continue reading “Governor of Puerto Rico Signs Executive Order to Legalize Medical Marijuana”
