In just a month, we’ve heard many tragic stories about veterans seeking care from Veterans Affairs.  The first happened in November, when a young Iowa veteran committed suicide after he was told he had to wait 5 to 6 weeks for an appointment for severe headaches, which he feared were related to a previous tumor.

Elsewhere, a veteran in an Oklahoma VA hospital died and maggots were found in his wounds after the family begged for his bandages to be changed. Then, another veteran died in a Florida VA hospital and his body was left in a shower room for 9 hours to decompose.  Yet the employees tried to cover up the egregious mistake. These incidents are just three, but every month, there are others just like them.     Continue reading “Marine drops TRUTH BOMB about VA horrors”

During a business forum in Manila on Monday, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte bragged about killing people while he was mayor of Davao City, CNN reported. “In Davao, I used to do it personally. Just to show the guys that, if I can do it, why can’t you,” he said.

ARLINGTON (KDAF) — It’s pretty uncommon for Jolly old St. Nick to be put on the naughty list. But for Jerry Henderson, someone who looks remarkably like the real thing, it was all too real when he took a trip to Six Flags’ Holiday in The Park.

Corpus Christi, TX — Ray Rosas is a free man tonight after a jury of his peers found him not guilty of shooting three Corpus Christi police officers on February 19, 2015. On that day, early in the morning, CCPD executed a no-knock search warrant, forcing entry into the home without first knocking and announcing they were the police.

A flash bang grenade was fired into Rosas’ bedroom, reportedly stunning the 47-year-old, who then opened fire on the intruders. Three officers were wounded; officers Steven Ruebelmann, Steven Brown, and Andrew Jordan. Police were looking for drugs and Rosas’ nephew, who they suspected to be a dealer. A Louisiana state judge on Wednesday threw out an order from the state’s Democratic governor aimed at protecting the rights of gay and transgender people, ruling that the governor had overstepped his authority.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu conveyed a message to Iran on Wednesday, warning the Islamic Republic’s leaders, “Don’t threaten us, we are not a rabbit we are a tiger. If you threaten us you endanger yourself.”

Netanyahu sent the message after being asked during his visit to Kazakhstan by President Nursultan Nazarbayev if he wants to send a message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who was scheduled to visit Kazakhstan next week.
