Austin police permanently suspended a police officer on Monday for violating department policy regarding the use of deadly force when he fatally shot an unarmed and naked teenager in February.

Obama stood with members of the American delegation to Cuba after laying a wreath at the Jose Marti monument in Revolution Square. The California city of Glendale will become the first US school district to officially observe Armenian Genocide Commemoration Day after a unanimous vote by its board members this week.

In a historic, but extremely short unanimous opinion, the United States Supreme Court has confirmed that the Second Amendment applies “to all instruments that constitute bearable arms,”. As this is an enormous class of nearly all weapons, the decision is properly applied to knives and clubs, and nearly all firearms that have been sold in the United States. White House hopeful Donald Trump would recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy there, he declared Monday, shortly before speaking to Washington’s biggest pro-Israeli lobby group.

Today, March 21, was originally scheduled to begin the trial of David Joseph Lenio, the man who was charged with the crime of ‘intimidation’ in Montana. (Section 45-5-203(1), MCA.) Prosecutors alleged that Lenio threatened to kill Jews and shoot up a school.

America can no longer claim to be an independent nation when our manufacturing base is under foreign ownership or foreign control. After all, ownership equals control, and control equals sovereignty.
