WEB Notes: I am starting to feel like we are walking down the yellow brick road. You never know what is going to pop out along the way. Now we have a Satanist who blames Christians. If I recall “Lucien Greaves” a made up name was or is an atheist. Big side shows going on here folks. Big side shows. So what is really going on…
Our Father has been removed from our nation as a whole. Not in our families of course, but at the national level there is no doubt. Our nation would make Sodom blush.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with senior White House adviser Jared Kushner on Thursday as part of a US bid to find ways to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
Speaking alongside Kushner before the start of their meeting at IDF Headquarters in the Kirya compound in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said he believed peace was “within our reach.”
“We have a lot of things to talk about. How to advance peace, stability and security in our region — prosperity too — and I think all of them are within our reach,” he said. Continue reading “Netanyahu meets Kushner as part of US peace push”

Even though present-day Afghanistan flies under the news radar, it remains to be the longest military quagmire in US history. Aside from troops still occupying the country, thousands of private contractors are on the ground that the Pentagon can’t even account for. Considering how Obama’s foreign policy strategy has been to replace ground troops with drone strikes, the administration’s logic behind continuing the occupation remains unclear.
War has always been about resources and control. Alongside the supposed surprise discovery of Afghanistan’s $1 trillion wealth of untapped minerals, the Taliban had successfully eradicated the opium crop in the Golden Crescent before the US invasion. Now, more than 90% of the world’s heroin comes from the war torn country. Continue reading “Flashback: How Opium is Keeping US in Afghanistan: CIA’s Shady History of Drug Trafficking”
Recent murmurs across the US media have indicated increased interest in “outsourcing” the war in Afghanistan to private military contractors. National Public Radio (NPR) interviewed Erik Prince, founder of controversial military contracting firm, Blackwater, who appears to be leading lobbying efforts toward this end.
In an interview titled, “Blackwater Founder Backs Outsourcing Afghan War-Fighting to Contractors,” Prince would defend his proposal for the creation of an “American viceroy” in Afghanistan, consolidating and overseeing all US operations in the country. WEB Notes: Free speech? Personal liberty? Not in America in the year 2017. Maybe it is not your game of choice, but these guys were off-campus on their own time. No one has a right to expel them because of this. When people start telling you what is right and wrong you should not only question it, you shout it down. We already have the Bible and something called the Constitution. Continually we see it whittled down and told it is racist. Stop being politically correct. If someone has a bunch of you know what coming out of their mouth, shut them down. Call it for what it is. Calling something racist is done in order to silence you or some group of people. No one wants to be called a racist so those being called racist will tend to stand down. Do not do that, you present the facts. Facts are facts.

The division in America has become so dramatic over the past year that many people can only foresee it heading one place: Civil War.
There’s a pronounced uptick in violence and protests (often going hand in hand.) Free speech is being crushed by the opposition with the mere threat of violent responses. Statues and memorials are being vandalized or defended. Protesters show up armed and armored, ready for battle. The media throws gasoline on these flames with reports solely laying the blame on one side. Some groups are openly planning sedition and no one is trying to stop them. Supporters of the DACA amnesty are hoping that President Donald Trump will tell his Department of Justice to save the amnesty from a federal court if a promised lawsuit from 10 state Attorneys General is filed September 5.
But the administration has provided no evidence that it will save the amnesty, according to Politico: Continue reading “DACA Amnesty Faces Sept. 5 Legal Deadline”
ESPN’s President Jon Skipper sought to straighten some things out on Wednesday, regarding the network’s decision to pull Asian-American broadcaster Robert Lee from a game he was scheduled to broadcast in Charlottesville. That move, made due to concerns that Lee’s name, similar to that of non-Asian confederate General Robert E. Lee, would offend some viewers.
In an internal memo obtained by CNN, Skipper attempted to explain his network’s thought process: Continue reading “ESPN Prez Tries to Say Network Didn’t Pull Robert Lee Over Concerns His Name Would Offend, Then Admits They Did”

A federal appeals court on Wednesday ruled against a high school football coach who was suspended for kneeling in prayer after games, saying it was unlikely the coach could show that a school district in Washington state violated his constitutional rights.
A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said Wednesday that the coach “took advantage of his position to press his particular views upon the impressionable and captive minds before him.” Continue reading “Appeals court rules against football coach suspended for kneeling in prayer after games”
Energy Transfer Partners, the corporation behind the Dakota Access Pipeline, has sued Greenpeace and other environmental groups for “eco-terrorism” over their protests against the controversial pipeline.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The top federal prosecutor in Nevada vowed a third trial Wednesday for two men accused of armed assault on a federal officer in a 2014 standoff that stopped a cattle roundup near the ranch of states’ rights figure Cliven Bundy.
“There’s no question about us proceeding forward. Just so the record’s clear,” Acting U.S. Attorney Steven Myhre told Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro a day after a jury acquitted two defendants of all 10 charges but failed to reach verdicts on four charges against Eric Parker and two counts against Scott Drexler. DID YOU KNOW that shortly after the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, the Taliban tried to surrender?
For centuries in Afghanistan, when a rival force had come to power, the defeated one would put down their weapons and be integrated into the new power structure — obviously with much less power, or none at all. That’s how you do with neighbors you have to continue to live with. This isn’t a football game, where the teams go to different cities when it’s over. That may be hard for us to remember, because the U.S. hasn’t fought a protracted war on its own soil since the Civil War. Continue reading “The Taliban Tried To Surrender And The U.S. Rebuffed Them. The Shia imam of a Muslim congregation in California has suggested that the so-called Islamic State (also known as ISIS, ISIL, of Daesh) “is the production of the Israeli intelligence.”
In a June 23 sermon, Dr. Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini, founder and director of the Islamic Education Center of Orange County, spewed the conspiracy theory that Israel was responsible for propping up the Islamic State after he explained that the terrorist organization was “anti-Islamic.” Continue reading “California Imam: Islamic State ‘Production of the Israeli Intelligence’”
Wal-Mart has announced that they will be joining Google’s online shopping platform Google Express, purportedly with an eye towards Amazon, according to a report.
“Google and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. are joining forces in a partnership that includes enabling voice-ordered purchases from the retail giant on Google’s virtual assistant, challenging rival Amazon.com Inc.’s grip on the next wave of e-commerce,” reported The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday. “While the deal will add hundreds of thousands of Wal-Mart items to Google Express, it will also give Wal-Mart access to voice ordering.” Continue reading “Report: Wal-Mart and Google Partner with ‘Eye on Amazon’”

Instead of turning herself over to immigration officials, Francisca Lino is taking sanctuary in the same Chicago church that protected immigration activist Elvira Arellano.
Lino, 50, a Bolingbrook resident and mother of six children — five of them U.S. citizens — was scheduled to meet with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials Wednesday. Instead, she held a West Side news conference at Adalberto United Methodist Church in Humboldt Park.
