NEW YORK (Reuters) – Equifax Inc said on Thursday it has taken one of its customer help website pages offline as its security team looks into reports of another potential cyber breach at the credit reporting company, which recently disclosed a hack that compromised the sensitive information of more than 145 million people.

The move came after an independent security analyst on Wednesday found part of Equifax’s website was under the control of attackers trying to trick visitors into installing fraudulent Adobe Flash updates that could infect computers with malware, the technology news website Ars Technica reported.   Continue reading “Equifax takes down web page after report of new hack”

Pedophilia in Hollywood, according to victims and those who expose it, is rampant and exists throughout the industry. Those who expose it are often tarred and feathered in the mainstream and the predators in Hollywood remain protected. However, the recent revelations about the alleged sexual abuse doled out by Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein, appears to be a chink in the pedophile protective armor enjoyed by Tinseltown.

After the NY Times piece exposed Harvey Weinstein for his rampant sexual harassment, actresses and actors came out to expose how they too have been abused in the industry. This massive coming out is forcing the mainstream media to finally cover the sexual abuse that goes on behind the scenes leaving a trail of damaged children and adults alike in its wake.

While questions remain as to whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation had prior knowledge of the Las Vegas shooting, the victim of another terrorist attack on United States soil is speaking out, and attempting to hold the FBI accountable for the suffering he endured.

In May 2015, two men opened fire outside of a provocative “Draw Muhammad” event in Garland, Texas. While the suspects were ultimately the only casualties, the attack is notable in that it became the first ISIS-claimed attack on American soil. It is also notable, because of the close proximity between an FBI agent and one of the suspects—both before and during the attack.

Yesterday, a Michigan judge put on hold an order that reportedly granted joint legal custody of an 8-year-old boy to a convicted sex offender who allegedly raped the child’s mother when she was 12 years old. A state prosecutor says that this whole issue was a big misunderstanding.

According to Fox News, Sanilac County prosecutors said the case began when the now 21-year-old mother requested state assistance this past summer for her son. As a condition of receiving that financial assistance, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services required her to cooperate with pursuing paternity and support for the child from his father, prosecutors said.   Continue reading “Judge Halts Order Which Awarded Joint Custody Of Son to His Mother’s Rapist”

SALEM, Ore. (Oct. 10, 2017) – Last Friday, an Oregon law went into effect that paves the way for the faster development of Oregon’s hemp market, and will further nullify federal prohibition in effect.

Sen. Ted Ferrioli (R-John Day) introduced Senate Bill 1015 (SB1015) last March. The new law gives the Oregon Liquor Control Commission authority over the processing of industrial hemp. Under this regulatory scheme, the state’s hemp business will be treated equally to the recreational cannabis industry.   Continue reading “New Oregon Law Will Help Facilitate The Sale Of Industrial Hemp Products”

During an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, portions of which were broadcast on Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s “OutFront,” former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton denounced Harvey Weinstein’s behavior and announced that money she received from him would be part of the 10% of her income she donates to charity every year.

Hillary said when she first heard the news about Weinstein, “I was just sick. I was shocked. I was appalled. It was something that was just intolerable in every way. And, you know, like so many people who’ve come forward and spoken out, this was a different side of a person who I and many others had known in the past.”   Continue reading “Hillary: ‘I Give 10% of My Income to Charity Every Year’ and Weinstein Donations ‘Will Be Part of That’”

Rebecca Bredow, the Michigan anti-vax mother who was jailed because she refused to let her son receive vaccinations, was not happy to learn that her son received four immunizations this week.

USA Today reports that the 40-year-old Bredow, who had to serve five days in prison for refusing a court order to make sure her 9-year-old son got his vaccinations, had to fight back tears when discussing her experience after being released from jail.   Continue reading “Jailed anti-vax mom ‘devastated’ when she learned her son has been vaccinated”

Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, called for the United States to implement an Australian-style gun confiscation program in an article published Wednesday.

Obama previously said in 2016 that the United States should consider following the example of Australia, which enacted a “mandatory buy-back” of guns and created a gun registry. Pfeiffer echoed that view in Wednesday’s article, published on Crooked, a media site founded by three former Obama staffers. Pfeiffer argued Democrats should propose such a program and outlined an extensive regimen of gun restrictions that Democrats could support, advising they stop “insincere pandering” to gun owners.   Continue reading “Fmr. Colleges and universities are breeding grounds for the Radical Left, encouraging Antifa violence and would-be Communist revolutionaries. That sounds outrageous, but it’s absolutely true. More and more, we’re hearing stories about instructors supporting Antifa, leading “resistance” groups, and making genocidal comments about white people. The Radical Left has taken over the higher education system.

It’s pretty hard to hope for unity when our halls of higher education are hard at work creating a generation of young people who hate everything for which America stands. The backward logic used to sway the feelings and opinions of students is obvious to us, but to younger, idealistic people without experience in the real world, it can seem like these instructors are brilliant souls marching to the beat of a drum so escalated that mere mortals can’t even hear it, much less understand it.   Continue reading “How the Radical Left Has Taken Over Higher Education: 7 Professors Who Promote Violence”

Sweden already leads the world in using noncash methods of payment and, according to a new study, could well become the world’s first cashless society in just five years from now.

Last year, only a meager 1 percent of the value of all payments was made using coins or notes in Sweden. The smooth transition toward a totally cashless society could be completed already in 2023, when shops are likely to stop accepting cash altogether, a study from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Copenhagen School of Economics suggested.

Does the Second Amendment protect an individual right to sell firearms to the public? No, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Tuesday in Teixeira v. County of Alameda, a landmark decision affirming the government’s constitutional authority to strictly regulate gun shops. The 9–2 ruling is a victory for gun safety advocates who feared judicial aggrandizement of the right to bear arms could invalidate myriad laws governing firearm commerce. The decision may be imperiled, however, if the plaintiffs appeal to the Supreme Court, where conservative justices are increasingly eager to expand the scope of the Second Amendment.

The maker of a little red pill intended to treat a rare condition is raking in hundreds of millions of dollars a year as it aggressively targets frail and elderly nursing home residents for whom the drug may be unnecessary or even unsafe, a CNN investigation has found.

And much of the money is coming straight from the federal government.

The pill, called Nuedexta, is approved to treat a disorder marked by sudden and uncontrollable laughing or crying — known as pseudobulbar affect, or PBA. This condition afflicts less than 1% of all Americans, based on a calculation using the drugmaker’s own figures, and it is most commonly associated with people who have multiple sclerosis (MS) or ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.   Continue reading “The little red pill being pushed on the elderly”

After multiple failed Republican attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, President Trump is resorting to his pen to achieve some of his health care goals.

On Friday, Mr. Trump signed an executive order intended to make lower-premium plans more widely available. The president has long talked of his desire to make plans available across state lines, something this order will apparently do. The White House views this as an action that will “increase the healthcare choices for millions of Americans, potentially allowing some employers to join together across State lines to offer coverage,” according to a background call before the order’s signing.    Continue reading “Trump signs health care executive order”
