Someone has vandalized the Lincoln Memorial, the National Park Service says.

The words “F— law” were found written in red spray paint early Tuesday on a pillar at the monument that overlooks the Capitol building and National Mall, NPS said Tuesday afternoon. The graffiti was found about 4:30 a.m.

“It’s frustrating, not only for the Park Service but certainly for the visitors that come here, that anyone would vandalize any of our iconic memorials. Especially the Lincoln Memorial. Israeli police arrested on Tuesday a firebrand Islamic cleric accused of inciting violence in connection with deadly tensions last month at a Jerusalem holy site.

Arab-Israeli Raed Salah was arrested at his home in the town of Umm al-Fahm, seven months after he was released from prison where he served nine months on similar charges.

Several cities across America have now begun to remove or talk about removing Confederate markers shortly after a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville turned deadly.

When Attorney General Jeff Sessions was asked how he viewed the car attack in Charlottesville, Va., here’s how he responded:

“It does meet the definition of domestic terrorism in our statute,” he told ABC’s Good Morning America.

The Trump administration on Wednesday will start to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement with Canada and Mexico. And despite very tough talk about NAFTA during the campaign, it appears the administration has backed away from a major assault on the decades-old trade deal.

And that is a relief to businesses in all three countries.

The owner of a Swiss hotel has been accused of anti-Semitism after she singled out Jews in two different signs, one of which told them to shower before and after swimming. The owner admits she used the “wrong words” in the notes.

“To our Jewish guests…please take a shower before you go swimming and although after swimming. The family of Alex Henry, who is serving a 19-year prison sentence for murder despite never touching the weapon used, say they will not stop fighting for justice after an appeal based on his autism was rejected.

In March 2014, Henry, then 20, was convicted of murder under the joint enterprise law after his friend, Cameron Ferguson, then 19, fatally stabbed Taqui Khezihi, 21, in West Ealing, London.

Ferguson pleaded guilty to murder and was jailed for 22 years. Henry was found guilty by association after it was argued he could have “foreseen” the knife could be used to cause death or harm. FREETOWN, Sierra Leone (AP) — The death toll from massive mudslides in Sierra Leone’s capital was certain to rise Tuesday as bodies washed up on a beach and workers searched for an untold number of people buried in their homes. The Red Cross estimated that 600 people were still missing.

Authorities have said more than 300 people were killed in and around Freetown on Monday following heavy rains. Many were trapped under tons of mud as they slept. CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — The driver charged with killing a woman at a white nationalist rally in Virginia was previously accused of beating his mother and threatening her with a knife, according to police records.
