Driver’s manuals in Arizona will now include a section detailing “how not to get shot by police” during traffic stops, which is specifically aimed at armed drivers in the wake of the shooting that killed Philando Castile.
Democratic State Rep. Reginald Bolding told the Arizona Daily Star that he pushed for a rewrite of the state’s driver’s manual as a way to help educate drivers—especially those who are black and Hispanic, because he said records have shown that they are more likely to become victims of police shootings. Eminent scientist James Marvin Herndon asserts that the chemtrails so often seen polluting our skies and fouling our biosphere consist of coal fly ash. Since June of 2015 Dr. Herndon has published eight scientific journal articles exposing the currently ongoing, uncontrolled geoengineering experiments taking place daily above our heads. In the course of his investigations, he has found that the chemical signatures of chemtrail spray and coal fly ash are indistinguishable.
This article takes Herndon’s thesis and runs with it. An 18-year-old woman who allegedly caused a crash that killed her younger sister – a tragic incident which was also live-streamed on Instagram – has been arrested by police in California.
Obdulia Sanchez from Stockton, south of Sacramento, was booked into Mercer County Jail on charges of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter while under the influence, KFSN reported. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump pressured Republicans Monday to approve the Senate’s wheezing health care bill, saying a showdown vote planned for this week is their “last chance to do the right thing” and erase the Obama law.
Trump’s prodding came a day before leaders say the Senate will vote on legislation shredding much of President Barack Obama’s health care law. Lacking the votes to push it through his chamber, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., postponed one roll call last month and hasn’t yet announced exactly what version of the measure lawmakers would consider Tuesday. KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — A Taliban suicide bomber killed 24 people in a horrific early morning assault in a neighborhood where prominent politicians reside, causing residents and analysts to question the government’s ability to protect Afghanistan’s capital.
Another 42 people were injured in the attack that took place during morning rush hour as government employees and students made their way to work and school. Plumes of black smoke were seen billowing skyward outside the entrance to a private high school. Students in nearby dormitories were injured by flying glass. LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Sitting in a classroom above a gun range, a woman hesitantly says she isn’t sure she could ever shoot and kill someone, even to protect herself. Couldn’t she just aim for their leg and try to maim them?
Her instructor says self-defense is not about killing someone, but is instead about eliminating a threat. A California family is demanding answers after a man sustained life-threatening injuries after being pinned to the ground by police during his arrest on a 101-degree summer day.
KTXL reports that James Nelson, 28, has been in a hospital burn unit for 29 days with second and third degree burns covering 45 percent of his body following his June arrest at a KFC restaurant in Citrus Heights, California. A Florida man is expected to appear in federal court today after 10 people died in San Antonio, Texas, in what officials called an immigrant-smuggling attempt “gone horribly wrong.”
A total of 39 people, including children, were recovered from the stifling hot tractor-trailer parked outside a San Antonio Walmart this weekend. Ten people, all adult men, died, and 29 people were being treated at hospitals, officials said. Many experienced heat stroke and dehydration, officials said. Alleged Russian meddling in the US electoral process will be the subject of a Senate Judiciary Hearing on Wednesday. The hearing is titled “Oversight of the Justice Department’s (Non) Enforcement of the Foreign Agents Registration Act: Lessons from the Obama Administration and Current Compliance Practices.” In 1938 the U.S. Congress passed the Foreign Agents Registration Act to mandate disclosure of the activities of non-diplomatic foreign agents in the United States propagandizing for war, swinging public opinion, and obtaining foreign aid and other economic benefits through congressional lobbying without disclosing that their activities were conducted on behalf of foreign principals.
The first panel of witnesses for Wednesday’s Senate hearing will include Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the National Security Division of the Justice Department Adam Hickey, Assistant Director of the Counterintelligence Division of the FBI Bill Priestap and Inspector General of the Justice Department Michael Horowitz. LONDON — A five-month legal battle to take terminally ill baby Charlie Gard to the United States for experimental treatment ended Monday after his parents told a British court they were withdrawing their legal challenge.
Charlie Gard’s parents, supported by an American neurologist and Italian medical researchers, had wanted the 11-month-old to be given the legal right to receive an untested therapy in the U.S. that they admitted was unlikely to work. Donald Trump’s allies in the oil industry are warning the president that his bid to boost U.S. steelmakers could backfire against their efforts to achieve his goal of “American energy dominance.”

Worth the 60 minute watch time.
George Carlin was an awesome comedian, and more than that he was one who got his laughs by doing what most others would not; by constantly poking the very irritable and VERY dangerous bugbear that is the government. And not simply by pointing out the physical flaws of the politicians, or parodying their harmless but annoying quirks (an easy way to milk the crowd for cheap laughs). That would have been far safer, because that sort of routine does not reveal anything incriminating about them OR the system…
He actually made people laugh with the truth. Entertaining with the truth isn’t just extraordinarily difficult, considering how people tend NOT to be entertained by such serious/boring/depressing issues (though this sort of comedy had the advantage of already being a dirty joke without requiring much effort). Chicago’s use of red light cameras to shake every possible cent out of its citizens took a hit this week. The city has agreed to a $38.75 million settlement to end a class action suit by people who say they hadn’t been given adequate notice of violations to respond to them.
