If anybody is talking about it, I haven’t heard it but this leftist terror attack occurred at the same time that the Congress is holding budget hearings – and the one person who was seriously injured is the House Majority Whip. Others may think that’s a coincidence – but I caught it once before – when the Boston Marathon attack occurred. A few days before the event, as DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano was facing budget cuts – and then the attack happened. After the hearing on the event, DHS got generous budget increases. This time, I think it was a bonus for them to be able to do it on Trump’s birthday – kind of a smokescreen.

News of the shooting early yesterday at a Republican congressional baseball practice is dominating the media. But what most missed, was the canceled hearing to loosen certain gun regulations pertaining to silencers and their use during hunting. It was canceled because of the shooting.
A congressional hearing which was scheduled for early Wednesday morning to debate gun legislation has been canceled until further notice in the wake of the shooting. The billion or more Yahoo accounts that were hacked in two separate cyber attacks didn’t dissuade Verizon from purchasing the security frazzled company, although the price was shaved by $350 million in Verizon’s final bid of $4.5 billion, reports Foxbusiness.com. Even though Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer didn’t accomplish what she was hired to do, she’ll still walk away with $186 million from the deal. But why did Verizon even purchase a company known for the worst security breaches in U.S. history? A terminal at the Port of Charleston in South Carolina will reopen and the safety zone has been lifted, the U.S. Coast Guard said on Thursday, after investigating a threat of a “dirty bomb” on a container ship.

At least seven people were killed and 59 others were injured in an explosion at the entrance of a kindergarten in eastern China on Thursday, city government said.

Oil prices are down over 10 percent since May 25, when OPEC, Russia and other producers agreed to extend oil output cuts. The reason is reports of growing US crude stockpiles – something Saudi Arabia would like to change.
The oil-rich kingdom owns a large refinery on the US Gulf Coast, and in order to manipulate the numbers, Saudi could slow down exports to America.

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and allies are hailing a federal judge’s decision that the Dakota Access Pipeline’s permits shall be remanded until further notice. The court found that the controversial project’s permitting process was insufficient.
The tribe and others bringing the lawsuit have long called for the Dakota Access Pipeline to be shut down. US District Court Judge Boasberg of the District of Columbia did not order any interruption in the DAPL’s oil transporting operations on Wednesday, but he did issue a 91-page decision that states the US Army Corps of Engineers did not adequately consider various potential impacts of oil spills on fishing rights, hunting rights, or environmental justice, when it issued the permits. WASHINGTON (AP) — The special counsel appointed to investigate Russian influence in the 2016 presidential campaign is now examining whether President Donald Trump tried to obstruct justice, it has been reported.
Accusations of obstruction arose last month when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. Last week, Comey testified in a Senate hearing that he believed he was fired “because of the Russia investigation.” Comey also testified he had told Trump he was not under investigation. MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — At least 17 people were killed in the night-long siege of a popular Mogadishu restaurant by al-Shabab Islamic extremists that was ended Thursday morning by security forces. Somali survivors early described harrowing scenes in which attackers hunted patrons of the popular Pizza House restaurant. The injured were taken by ambulances.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility as the restaurant was under siege. Soldiers surrounded the restaurant building and used guns mounted on the backs of vehicles to neutralize the militants. Rob Kirby has made another video in a series. The first part of the series is below the video. It concerns an American secret Treasury Department slush fund where the CIA stashes its profits from the heroin market. The title of this video implies as Mr Kirby implies is that the New World Order crowd is about to fail miserably. It is well worth the effort to watch this video.

In a 91-page decision, Judge James Boasberg ruled that the federal permits authorizing the pipeline to cross the Missouri River just upstream of the Standing Rock reservation, which were hastily issued by the Trump administration just days after the inauguration, violated the law in certain critical respects.
The Court did not determine whether pipeline operations should be shut off and has requested additional briefing on the subject and a status conference next week.

The U.S. military has moved a truck-mounted, long-range rocket launcher from Jordan to a U.S. base in Al-Tanf, Syria, near the Iraqi and Jordanian borders, according to two regional intelligence sources.
Reuters reports that the sources said the U.S. had moved the so-called High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) into the desert garrison, which has seen a buildup in recent weeks as tensions have continued to mount between U.S.-backed forces and Iranian-backed forces, as Anti-Media has previously reported. President Donald Trump lashed out on Twitter early on Thursday after a report that he was under investigation for possible obstruction of justice by the special counsel probing alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
