In the growing debate surrounding the natural right to self-defense, one of the most popular proposed methods of gun control has been restrictions on gun-ownership for those who are deemed to be mentally ill. This is a measure that is often suggested by liberals and conservatives alike, but it is important to stop and consider what something like this might entail.   Continue reading “How Gun Control Laws for “Mentally Ill” Could Disarm Those Who Question Authority”

The Pentagon announced on Thursday it was standing up a new cell to support President Trump’s activation of National Guard troops along the U.S. border with Mexico.

“This is not business as usual. The cell will last for the foreseeable future to make sure we surge our capacity to meet the president’s enhanced border security goals,” said Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Dana White.   Continue reading “Pentagon Stands Up Border Security Cell to Implement Trump’s National Guard Plan”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States imposed major sanctions on Friday against 24 Russians, striking at allies of President Vladimir Putin in one of Washington’s most aggressive moves to punish Moscow for what it called a range of “malign activity,” including alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.

The action, taken under pressure from the U.S. Congress, freezes the U.S. assets of “oligarchs” such as aluminum tycoon Oleg Deripaska, a close associate of Putin, and lawmaker Suleiman Kerimov, whose family controls Russia’s largest gold producer, Polyus.   Continue reading “In strike against Putin, U.S. imposes sanctions on businessmen close to Kremlin”

The Organic Prepper – by M. K. Matthews

The U.S. Stock Market closed much higher on Wednesday after experiencing tornadic interday volatility as the news of potential tariff wars hit the airwaves.  Analysts and traders were scrambling to determine the potential impact of a trade war between China and the United States.  Midday news of a potential agreement calmed the choppy trading waters enough for investors to step back into the wading pool.

However, this has left many distrustful since the proposed tariffs will affect almost every sector and affect multinational companies.  Continue reading “Wall Street is Seasick and Farmers Are in Trouble as Trump Adds New Tariffs”

The current situation in Venezuela, with the present induced scarcity, made me analyze what could be done by a prepper to provide a proper DIY supply of those goodies that suddenly disappear from the shelves.

Venezuela had industries that produced a lot of goods: toothpaste, shampoo, all kind of hygiene products, food, drinks, fuel. Just like every country. The raw materials needed for some stuff, if not produced in the country, were bulk imported, much cheaper. Items in a wide range of prices were available. If someone could not afford the toilet paper with perfume, no problem, there was a cheaper brand available, nationally produced. Everyone could enjoy a decent life quality. That was one of the main attractions of the country. Until the commies arrived, of course.   Continue reading “Lessons from Venezuela: 5 Things You Must Learn to DIY Before a Collapse”

Facebook has asked several major U.S. hospitals to share anonymized data about their patients, such as illnesses and prescription info, for a proposed research project. Facebook was intending to match it up with user data it had collected, and help the hospitals figure out which patients might need special care or treatment.

The proposal never went past the planning phases and has been put on pause after the Cambridge Analytica data leak scandal raised public concerns over how Facebook and others collect and use detailed information about Facebook users.

National Americans know what I’m talking about, and we could go on with this topic forever. Let’s just talk about what’s important to us right now, immigration. Fox News the commie news network, is currently touting the newest in Trump talking points, sending 4000 armed troops to the border UNTIL the so called “WALL” is built. Those troops are going to be National Guard from different states around America. The problem lies in the basic questions, what are the rules of engagement going to be, and what about the current millions that are already here illegally?

This is the fundamental problem with this whole circus act. Why are we not combing the cities, especially California, with National Guard troops, sweeping out the trash at the same time? This so-called wall is going to take years to build; we could be sweeping cities during this important time as well. Trump is again, playing American Nationals like a bunch of village idiots.   Continue reading “Aiding and Abetting – American Leaders Ignoring The Bill of Rights”

Yesterday 17 more states, the District of Columbia, and six cities joined the state of California in court challenges to plans for the 2020 Census to include a question about the citizenship of each personfound to be present in the US on census day.

In June 2016 a Bordentown father was wrapping up his Father’s Day by playing a game of basketball with his two sons, when the ball rolled into the street and got stuck under a New Jersey State Trooper’s patrol car.

Annoyed with the number of troopers that came speeding through his neighborhood, Thomas Rowley, walked out into the street to retrieve the basketball and talk to Trooper Brennan Sullivan. Rowley didn’t expect a heated confrontation or to be put under arrest, but that’s exactly what happened.   Continue reading “Dad says vengeful trooper arrested him because he complained about his driving”

Because he said three stupid, deliberately offensive things about mass shootings on Reddit, Chris Velasquez became an early target of a new Florida law authorizing “risk protection orders” (RPOs) that bar people from buying or possessing guns. Last month, based on a police affidavit that falsely portrayed Velasquez as a ticking time bomb who had threatened to attack schools, a judge issued a temporary RPO against him. Yesterday, after taking a closer look at the evidence, the same judge declined to extend the RPO for a year.  Continue reading “This ‘Awesome Dude’ Lost His Gun Rights by Saying Stupid Stuff on Reddit”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Donald Trump said on Thursday he had instructed U.S. trade officials to consider $100 billion in additional tariffs on China, fueling an already heated trade dispute between the world’s two biggest economies.

Trump said in a statement the further tariffs were being considered “in light of China’s unfair retaliation” against earlier U.S. trade actions that included $50 billion of tariffs on Chinese goods.   Continue reading “Trump proposes $100 billion more in new tariffs on China”

Defiant Central American migrants from the sprawling human ‘caravan’ snaking north through Mexico taunted President Trump and vowed to continue their push towards the US – declaring: ‘We’ll see you soon Mr President.’

And they told DailyMail.com about the reality of what Trump called ‘the strong immigration laws of Mexico’ revealing that in fact they were being given 20 or even 30-day passes to travel freely and told to report to immigration centers, which dot the U.S. border.   Continue reading “‘We’ll see you soon Mr President!’ Immigrants on the sprawling human caravan taunt Trump and reveal that despite the ‘tough Mexican immigration laws’ he touted they have passes to travel with NO restrictions as they move toward the U.S.”
