Jerusalem will host next month an unprecedented trilateral meeting of top security officials from Israel, Russia and the US, the White House announced on Wednesday.

“In June, United States National Security Adviser Ambassador John Bolton, Israeli National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat, and Russian Secretary of the Security Council Nikolay Patrushev will meet in Jerusalem, Israel, to discuss regional security issues,” the White House press secretary said in a statement issued minutes before the Knesset voted to disband and to set new elections for September 17. SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – The Trump administration is again changing the way it vets people who want to sponsor minors who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border alone in an effort to speed up the release of thousands of migrant children currently in U.S. custody.

A potential pay raise for Congress is stirring up debate on Capitol Hill, and with funding for the Legislative Branch on deck for floor action next week, at least four proposals to keep lawmaker pay frozen are on the table.

Five House lawmakers have offered amendments that would bar funding for a cost of living increase for members of Congress. At least one person has died when a helicopter crashed into a building Monday afternoon in Midtown Manhattan, according to the New York City Fire Department. The crash sparked a two-alarm fire at the building, located at 787 7th Avenue, between 51st and 52nd Streets.

In what would be the first case of its kind, a Louisiana woman allegedly died from a THC overdose after vaping a large amount of cannabis oil.

The New Orleans Advocate reports that the otherwise healthy 39-year-old collapsed and died in her La Place apartment in February due to high levels of THC, the main psychoactive compound in cannabis, according to St. John Baptist Parish Coroner Christy Montegut.
