The $1.1 billion spent to repair Oroville Dam is failing as water is seeping through the rebuilt spillway threatens new mass evacuations over the risk of the dam collapsing.

Last week, the German organization Jewish Voice for a Just peace in the Middle East received a peace prize from the city of Göttingen.

As the organization supports the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel, the announcement of its nomination became a battleground, wherein prominent Jewish leaders tarnished its members as anti-Semites, suggesting that they were the ‘wrong kind of Jews’. The mayor and the president of the Göttingen university withdrew their support and cancelled the booking of halls for receptions. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser reminded local law enforcement that they swore an “oath to uphold the rule of law” in a statement Thursday. The reminder comes after numerous counties have passed resolutions denouncing “red flag” gun control legislation that’s expected to pass.

House Bill 1177 would allow family members or law enforcement to petition a judge to issue a temporary extreme risk protection order (ERPO) for a person thought to be a threat, after which the person’s weapons could be temporarily seized for up to a year. On Saturday, Breitbart News reported that Graham had given Democrats a green light for a March 26 hearing on the confiscatory gun laws.
