Note: I was told by a parishoner of Fr. Nolan’s parish whom I trust there that ‘Catholic News Agency’ is the one who created this alleged ‘controversy’ by calling to report the priest to the Diocese and to his superiors.
I am acquainted with this priest. My wife & I went to confession to Fr. Nolan last month and then to evening Mass. After Mass we did our hour of Eucharistic Adoration, and the only other people in the church were Fr. Nolan, on his knees in front of the tabernacle for an hour, and Fr. Kluge. They are very holy and good priests. Continue reading “Heroic Priest Fr. Daniel Nolan, FSSP: “I encourage everybody not to wear a mask.””
My cousin found this rock today; I think it was meant for all of us. 🙂
Business owners in Minneapolis are scrounging for answers after discovering that insurance money will not be enough to cover clean-up costs after rioters ransacked neighborhoods and hollowed out storefronts, according to a report published Monday.
Owners are being asked to fork over between $100,000 than $300,000 for construction companies to demolish and eventually haul away buildings that were all-but destroyed after the May riots, the Star Tribune reported. They are shocked and increasingly desperate, as most insurance policies cover only $25,000 in demolition costs, the report noted. In an interview with Kaiser Health News published Tuesday, Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said a Data and Safety Monitoring Board, which is composed of research experts that review data from clinical trials, has the power to end the trials early. PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon State Police troopers have been deputized by the federal government.
That means they can act on behalf of the feds even though they work for a state agency.
In a statement, OSP said it has worked with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to review arrests, but it didn’t confirm if any of the people it has arrested have been charged federally. Continue reading “Oregon State Police troopers deputized by feds”
NFL end zones will be inscribed this season with two slogans: “It Takes All Of Us” on one end line, “End Racism” on the other.
As part of its social justice awareness initiatives, the NFL also will allow similar visuals on helmets and caps.
Previously announced were decals on the back of helmets, or patches on team caps, displaying names or phrases to honor victims of racism and/or police brutality. Continue reading “NFL Announces Social Justice Slogans Will Be Inscribed on Every Field”
One of our readers reached out early this evening—September 1st, 2020—letting me know he saw a formation of four MH-6 Little Birds flying in tight formation over Interstate 5 near downtown Los Angeles. I joked at the time that it will be just a matter of hours until people start freaking out due to the urban training operations they were likely about to execute. Just like clockwork, a few hours after the sun had set, the social media posts began emerging. People couldn’t understand what they were seeing, and how can you blame them? Watching blacked-out little helicopters, most of which usually run with no lights, ripping low over rooftops, landing on tall buildings and quickly departing, and even flying down city streets, is certainly concerning—any action movie will tell you that. But the reality is that it’s only the world’s best helicopter pilots that are tasked with the hardest missions practicing to fight future wars and to respond to terrorist incidents in what the Pentagon has dubbed ‘megacities.’ Continue reading “Here’s What All Those Black Helicopters Were Doing Zipping Around Los Angeles Last Night”
