New York Post – by Kenneth Garger

The US Supreme Court on Thursday night struck down a federal eviction moratorium that was recently extended by President Biden’s administration without congressional support.

The decision to end the pandemic-related eviction freeze came as a result of a legal challenge to the policy brought by a coalition of landlords and real estate trade groups. Continue reading “Supreme Court ends federal eviction moratorium”

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says US troops will need to go back into combat in Afghanistan — as the region remains on high alert for more suicide attacks, with the death toll from Thursday’s atrocity soaring over 180, including 13 US service members.

“We’re going to have to go back in to get ISIS,” Panetta told CNN, calling Thursday’s twin suicide blasts by the reinvigorated terrorist group “Joe Biden’s worst nightmare.”  Continue reading “Leon Panetta says US troops will need to return to combat in Afghanistan”

The United States and its coalition partners have evacuated tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan, but a new report says that only 5% of those have been American citizens.

“More than 82,300 have been airlifted from Kabul since the government’s collapse nearly two weeks ago, but the Pentagon says that, as of Wednesday, only 4,400 Americans were rescued in those evacuation operations,” The Federalist reported. Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson confirmed Wednesday that about 4,400 Americans were evacuated from Afghanistan.  Continue reading “Report: Only 5% Of People Evacuated From Afghanistan Are Americans”

The DC police officer who fatally shot Capitol rioter Ashli Babbitt said his decision to open fire would not have changed even if he had known she was unarmed, in his first on-record comments since the unrest on January 6.

Speaking to NBC News in his first public interview on Thursday night, Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd defended his actions inside the halls of Congress earlier this year, saying he “showed the utmost courage” despite being “very afraid,” while insisting Babbitt was “posing a threat to the United States House of Representatives” when he shot her. Free Thought Project – by Don Via, Jr.

No matter how many times a commentary is provided on the subject, it is still nauseating to witness fervent tribalism perpetuated in real time. Weird how the one side of the demographic that was all in favor of finally “Ending the Forever Wars” for 4 years during the last Administration, are now the same ones clutching their pearls and regurgitating talking point after talking point of State Department nonsense to prolong that catastrophe. Where did all that “drain the swamp” rhetoric go? Continue reading “As the Left and Right Argue Over Talking Points, They’re Missing The Real Lesson From Afghanistan.”
