The World Health Organization (WHO) on Wednesday called for the urgent development of a vaccine against a bacterial infection responsible for nearly 150,000 stillbirths and infant deaths each year.

A fresh report by the UN health agency and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine found that the impact of Group B Streptococcus infection (GBS), which is estimated to live harmlessly in the intestinal tracts of up to a third of all adults, is a far bigger cause of preterm births and disability than previously thought.  Continue reading “A Vaccine Is Urgently Needed For Infection Killing 150,000 Babies Annually, WHO Warns”

ScheerPost – by Ellen Brown

A month before the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (known as COP26) kicked off in Scotland, a new asset class was launched by the New York Stock Exchange that will “open up a new feeding ground for predatory Wall Street banks and financial institutions that will allow them to dominate not just the human economy, but the entire natural world.” So writes Whitney Webb in an article titled “Wall Street’s Takeover of Nature Advances with Launch of New Asset Class”:  Continue reading “Wall Street’s Latest Scheme Is Monetizing Nature Itself”

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) wasted no time in preparing to keep the roads clear during the approaching winter season — the salt barns are stocked, the trucks are prepped and all the pre-checks are done. However, Ohio, along with at least 10 other states, is facing a critical setback: a shortage in snowplow drivers.

Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Oregon, Missouri, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Rhode Island, and Wyoming — all of which typically have snow coating the streets during the winter months — are all seeing staff shortages when it comes to snowplow drivers this season. In addition, six of these states — Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Oregon, Missouri, and Colorado — are each looking to hire more than 100 people for the job.  Continue reading “Winter travel could be even slower than usual in these 11 states”

WASHINGTON (AP) — An independent Pentagon review has concluded that the U.S. drone strike that killed innocent Kabul civilians and children in the final days of the Afghanistan war was not caused by misconduct or negligence, and it doesn’t recommend any disciplinary action, officials said during a Wednesday press conference.

The review, done by Air Force Lt. Gen. Sami Said, found there were breakdowns in communication and in the process of identifying and confirming the target of the bombing, according to a senior defense official familiar with the report. But, Said concluded that the mistaken strike happened despite prudent measures to prevent civilian deaths, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a report not yet released. Emergency rooms across the United States are filling up with people suffering from major health issues. Unlike during the height of the “pandemic” when hospitals were empty and devoid of any human life.

The scene being painted is in stark contrast to where emergency departments were at the start of the pandemic. Except for initial hot spots like New York City, in spring 2020 many ERs across the country were often eerily empty. And even in New York City, despite KHN‘s claims, the hospitals were emptyContinue reading “ERs Are OVERRUN With People Suffering From “Sudden Cardiac Arrest””

A number of deer in the state of Iowa are carrying the coronavirus, according to a recent study, prompting scientists to worry the wild animals could potentially become a reservoir for the virus.

The study, which was published on the pre-print server Biorxiv on Monday, suggests that the deer caught the virus from humans. The study says there is no evidence at this time that they could pass it back.
