Furious locals have warned the purchase of Frongoch Farm in the village of Cwrt-y-Cadno, Carmarthenshire by investment firm Foresight Group, who plan to re-wild the area, will “destroy” the local environment and the scenery as well as tear up years of farming history.

The death rate for those aged 18-64 has risen an astonishing 40% over pre-pandemic levels, according to the CEO of Indianapolis-based insurance company OneAmerica.
“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” said Scott Davison, head of the $100 billion insurance company that’s been in operation since 1877 and has approximately 2,400 employees. The holiday travel nightmare worsened on New Year’s Day with more than 1,700 flights already cancelled for Sunday after more than 2,700 flights were cancelled Saturday due to poor weather conditions and the impacts of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

The city of Philadelphia has set a record in 2021 with 559 murders committed, the most in its history since records began. It has outstripped more populous cities that have also seen rates spike, like New York and Los Angeles.
The rate surged from last year’s 499 murders and represented a major increase from 2019’s 356 killings. Children have been among the worst impacted, with some 206 kids and teens hit by gunfire over the past year, 36 of them fatally. A bill filed in the Florida Legislature seeks to allow video and audio recordings in school classrooms, WFLA reported Sunday.
