I’ve been across the country and since Spring of 2020 Walmart has always been very respectful and admirable about honoring medical mask exemptions. It’s even outlined on their corporate website. I’ve actually spoken to many Walmart managers across the USA to thank them for this. But sometimes, their employees violate Walmart policy.
This video is from a Walmart recently in New Mexico. New Mexico tends to be nuts in this regard, mask-obsessed, so I had cam rolling as I walked in. The Walmart greeter says “Sir do you have a mask?” Continue reading ““We All Have Mask Exemptions, But Masks Are Mandatory.””

When the coronavirus pandemic struck last year, people throughout the developed world raced to buy toilet paper, bottled water, yeast for baking bread, and other basic necessities. Americans also stocked up on guns. They bought more than 23 million firearms in 2020, up 65 percent from 2019. First-time gun purchases were notably high. The surge has not abated in 2021. In January, Americans bought 4.3 million guns, a monthly record. Continue reading “How to Persuade Americans to Give Up Their Guns”

The United States is building “small cities” on military bases across the country temporarily to house the Afghan evacuees who fled their home country in the final days and weeks of August.
The eight military installations that are being used to house Afghan refugees currently have approximately 25,600 people with a capacity of 36,000, though they are still short of the 50,000 goal, Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of Northcom, said during Friday’s briefing. Continue reading “‘Small cities’: Inside the military bases that will temporarily house Afghan evacuees”
More than 2,000 mostly Haitian and Venezuelan migrants crossed the Rio Grande at Del Rio, Texas, during the past week. Several hundred migrants remain at the river’s edge awaiting transport and processing due to logistical problems plaguing the Border Patrol.
The flow of more than 2,000 such migrants in a week is such that the Border Patrol cannot keep up with the detention space required to detain the large groups at temporary detention and processing facilities in the area, according to a source with CBP who spoke with Breitbart Texas under the condition of anonimity. It is not uncommon for outdoor space to be used for detention due to the increase in migrant crossings in the area, Breitbart reported. At least 100 Afghan refugees who were set to enter the US have been flagged for terrorist ties, NBC News reports, and will now be sent to Kosovo where they will undergo additional screening and review.
Specifically the 100 were “flagged for possible ties to the Taliban or terror groups.” NBC detailed that “of more than 30,000 evacuees from Afghanistan to the U.S., about 10,000 needed additional screening as of Friday, said the sources, and of those about 100 were flagged for possible ties to the Taliban or terror groups.” Continue reading “100 Afghan Evacuees Flown To US Flagged For Terrorist Ties”

Reporters, lobbyists, activists, Biden administration officials and, of course, lawmakers and their staffs spent countless hours and an ocean of ink on the negotiations for and passage of a recent bipartisan infrastructure bill totaling around $1 trillion. Casual observers probably won’t hear as much, though, about two votes — one in the Senate and one in the House — that could pave the way for Congress to spend a whopping $1.2 trillion additional dollars on the military, above current projections, over the next decades. Here’s how. Continue reading “Lawmakers pave way for $1.2 trillion in new military spending over next 10 years”
Maui Mayor Michael Victorino said a modified health pass will be implemented at Maui County restaurants beginning on Sept. 15, that is similar to, but less restrictive than the Safe Access O‘ahu program that begins in just 10 days.
While O‘ahu’s program is for restaurants, bars, gyms, movie theaters, museums, arcades and other similar establishments, Mayor Victorino did not specify what types of businesses besides restaurants would be included. Continue reading “Maui to Implement Health Pass on Sept. 15”
Many care workers in the UK who were told to get vaccinated against Covid-19 or lose their jobs have left the industry en masse for better paid positions at companies such as Amazon, creating massive staffing shortages.
According to the Guardian, which spoke to several care home industry officials, “three-quarters of care home operators are reporting an increase in staff quitting since April,” with the reasons being “a desire for less stress and for higher pay” and “to avoid mandatory vaccination, which comes into effect on 11 November.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was publicly condemned on Thursday after arguing that mandatory Covid-19 vaccination actually advances civil liberties instead of compromising them.
In an article for the New York Times – which the ACLU posted on its official Twitter account – ACLU National Legal Director David Cole and colleague Daniel Mach defended vaccine mandates by claiming that the right to bodily autonomy is overruled when others are put at risk.
