The news outlet’s pronouncement came amid predictions that domestic and international travel will resume in the summer of 2021. The House passed President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus package on early Saturday, moving the legislation to the Senate for a vote where it likely will meet even more resistance.

The Biden administration is moving forward with plans to screen airline passengers from two African countries arriving in the U.S. for Ebola, which will involve sending them to one of about a half dozen designated airports, Yahoo News has learned.

The Department of Homeland Security would, under the plan, send passengers from Guinea and Democratic Republic of the Congo to five or six airports where data will be collected for contact tracing and they will undergo basic health screenings. OTTAWA – B’nai Brith Canada is calling on Carleton University to publicly condemn antisemitism and speak out after one of its professors alleged that Jewish money was corrupting the institution, while casting aspersions on its Centre for Jewish Studies.

In a Feb. 10 online event hosted by “Carleton University Students for Scholars at Risk,” Nahla Abdo, a panelist and professor of sociology, lamented supposed Israeli influence at the University, saying: “Money works – I wish we had money. We could have donated a lot of money and buildings. Israeli… you know, you have tons of buildings, everywhere, actually named after donors. That is not a strategy that Palestinians can do. Millions of cloth facemasks distributed by the federal government in Belgium in 2020 may contain toxic chemicals according to a newly-leaked report from Sciensano, the Belgian Institute for Public Health.

The Belgian government purchased 15 million Avrox masks and dispensed them through private pharmacies to its 11.5 million citizens.
