MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – A northwestern Minnesota sheriff says Gov. Tim Walz’s latest executive order, which limits the size of private gatherings would be difficult to enforce.

The order restricts all social gatherings in Minnesota, including private events, to 10 people or less. It also bans gatherings involving members of more than 3 households, regardless of the size of the gathering. Greece’s General Secretariat for Telecommunications and Posts has set up a 5 digit hotline for citizens to text if they want to obtain permission to leave their homes while the new restrictions are in place for the next 3 weeks. In what is being touted as the largest seizure in history, authorities have raided the home of a Virgin Island police officer and discovered $250 million worth of cocaine. The raid resulted in the seizure of 2.3 tons of the white powdery substance.

Illustrating the sheer size of the bust, the amount of cocaine is equivalent in US dollars, to 75 percent of the entire department’s annual budget. According to police, the raid was carried out in the early morning hours on Friday, November 6. When police arrived, several people escaped but the home owner, Darren Davis, 41, who has been a Virgin Island cop for over 20 years, was arrested on the spot. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) on Thursday issued a stay-at-home advisory and called on residents to cancel their “traditional” Thanksgiving plans as part of an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Lightfoot announced advisory will take effect on Monday, November 16th, and will last 30 days. WASHINGTON – More than 130 Secret Service officers who help protect the White House and the president when he travels have recently been ordered to isolate or quarantine because they tested positive for the coronavirus or had close contact with infected co-workers, according to three people familiar with agency staffing.

The spread of the coronavirus – which has sidelined roughly 10 percent of the agency’s core security team – is believed to be partly linked to a series of campaign rallies that President Donald Trump held in the weeks before the Nov. 3 election, according to the people, who, like others interviewed for this report, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the situation. Whitehouse coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci thinks that Americans have an independent spirit, but that there are times when it’s in our best interest to follow the rules.

Fauci, speaking on Thursday at Washington National Cathedral with other top health experts on the pandemic, noted that it is a bit unfair to compare the United States’ coronavirus response with other countries. The United States isn’t an island with five million people that can easily be shut down, he notes. Eight professors from the University of Chicago gave FDR a plan that would have ended the Depression in 90 days. It was basically Dr Irving Fisher’s theory of 100% money.

He would have repealed our Federal Reserve system which allows a privately owned company to issue our currency and to charge us interest for loaning us our money (Federal Reserve Notes) into circulation. Fisher would have replaced our debt based currency with a non-interest bearing currency like President Lincoln’s Greenbacks. Under Lincoln’s system all currency was issued by the Treasury and not by a privately owned Federal Reserve Bank which charges us taxpayers interest on money they created out of thin air. Pfizer is expected to seek federal permission to release its Covid-19 vaccine by the end of November, a move that holds promise for quelling the pandemic but also sets up a tight time frame to make sure consumers understand what it will mean to get the shots.

The vaccine, and likely most others, will require two doses to work, injections that must be given weeks apart, company protocols show. Scientists anticipate that the shots will cause enervating flu-like side effects — including sore arms, muscle aches and fever — that could last days and temporarily sideline some people from work or school. And even if a vaccine proves 90 percent effective, the rate Pfizer touted for its product, 1 in 10 recipients would still be vulnerable. That means, at least in the short term, as population-level immunity grows, people can’t stop social distancing and throw away their masks.
