I am only 53 years old and I grew up in Wisconsin and now live in Oklahoma, but I cannot ever remember the color of the leaves on the trees changing color in August. Over the past week, as I am walking Henry, I have noticed the leaves on the trees in my back yard are all changing colors. The earliest I remember the fall colors is in mid-Septemeber and they are usually at their peak in October. Am I remembering incorrectly or is something strange occurring this year?

WASHINGTON — US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will address the Republican National Convention Tuesday from an “undisclosed location” in Jerusalem, officials said Sunday, in a move that breaks decades of precedence in not using the office for partisan purposes.
Pompeo will speak to the virtual confab while he’s on an official trip to the Middle East to push for broader Arab-Israeli rapprochement after Israel and the United Arab Emirates struck an agreement to fully normalize relations. Kenosha, WI — An investigation is now underway after police officers with the Kenosha police department opened fire on an unarmed man in front of his children. That man, Jacob Blake, is now in critical condition, fighting for his life.
According to authorities, police were responding to a domestic incident Sunday afternoon. How exactly Blake was involved or what happened to spark the call is unclear. Trump, being the bullshit artist that he is, ran on one of many lies, one being we will fix America’s infrastructure. As you look around, that is not happening, yes there is a little road work being done, but as far as bridges buildings and waterways its basically crickets.
This is damaging as hell to the American National because as America deteriorates, so does our jobs. There are bridges falling apart in the midwest that when finally determined unsafe and close, traffic will have to be re-routed causing up to a four hour detour for commutes and truck freight routes, this while we have disappearing trillions of dollars. School bus 105 rumbled through an East Anchorage neighborhood Wednesday morning and lurched to a stop at a street corner where third grader Sidney Riley and her mother, Kristine, stood waiting.
Sidney didn’t hop on the bus to head to school. Instead, Lloyd Palmatier, a gray-haired man wearing a black face mask and a white kerchief tied around his neck, shuffled down the steps to greet the pair.
Monsignor Charles Pope, pastor of Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Catholic Church in Washington D.C., was diagnosed with COVID-19, in late July. After being released from the hospital, he was quarantined at home and posted a video on August 1 entitled ‘Greeetings from Msgr.
