A US court has convicted Lee Elbaz, former CEO of Israel-based Yukom Communications, of three counts of wire fraud and one of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with a global binary options scheme.

Barry Pollack, a lawyer for Elbaz, told Reuters by email on Thursday that the court jury in the US state of Maryland “got it wrong” and his client would appeal against her conviction on Wednesday. SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A U.S. judge ruled that the Trump administration cannot withhold millions of dollars in law enforcement grants from Oregon to force the nation’s first sanctuary state to cooperate with U.S. immigration enforcement.

These laws all started as a reaction to the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida last year and with every shooting since, they have sped up. And, like most politicians always do, they are not letting these tragedies go to waste.
