Charles Krauthammer, 68, a Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post columnist and intellectual provocateur who championed the muscular foreign policy of neoconservatism that helped lay the ideological groundwork for the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, died Thursday, June 21.

It doesn’t matter who works in the Oval Office, the U.S. Middle East policy hasn’t been changing for decades. Whether it is George Bush, Barak Obama or Donald Trump the key idea is the same – Iraq\Syria\Libya constitutes an imminent threat to the national interests of the USA.

This statement hasn’t appeared recently. The US made the decision on June 19 to withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council, justifying the move by claiming that the UN body is biased against Israel. Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement that the US had demonstrated a deep disregard for the UN and double standards by trying to ram its position through.

President Donald Trump’s executive order which modifies his “zero tolerance” policy at the United States-Mexico border has left Democrats and the open borders lobby fighting for an end to all border enforcement, inviting floods of illegal immigration and cheap foreign labor into the country.

The zero-tolerance policy mandates that all illegal border crossers — including illegal alien adults who cross the border with children — be prosecuted and eventually deported from the U.S. This policy results in border-crossing parents having their children taken into federal custody. ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (AP) — South Sudan’s armed opposition on Thursday rejected any “imposition” of a peace deal and asked for more time after the first face-to-face meeting between President Salva Kiir and rival Riek Machar in almost two years.

EAST PITTSBURGH, Pa. (AP) — A 17-year-old boy fatally shot by a police officer in Pennsylvania seconds after he fled a traffic stop did not pose a threat to anyone, a lawyer for the family of the teen said.

Civil rights attorney S. Lee Merritt said late Wednesday that he doesn’t see any apparent justification for the use of deadly force by an East Pittsburgh police officer that left Antwon Rose Jr. dead.
