Accused Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz has been given permission to meet his lawyer to pursue his late adoptive mother’s reported $800,000 inheritance.

The 19-year-old is alleged to have opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland earlier this month, killing 17 people and injuring 14 others.

Rhode Island established a new “red flag” policy on guns with an executive order that will help keep guns away from people who “could pose significant threats to public safety.”

“The executive order I signed today is an immediate step we can take to make residents safer. It sets the table for a complementary legislative effort,” Gov. After the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, there has been renewed interest in allowing properly trained teachers and school staff to carry concealed weapons with them at work. However, the idea often doesn’t align with state law, including the state where the tragedy occurred, and one sheriff is working toward a solution through a special program.

In a series of tweets, Jones accused Hogg of using CNN to shut down his YouTube channel.

Two years ago, the Sun Sentinel reportedthat Israel was rewarding top political supporters by giving them and their family members cushy jobs doing public relations and community outreach for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. One such position, outreach manager, paid out a salary of $78,489. In Rutland, demolition crews began tearing down a dilapidated three-story dwelling which will soon be replaced with a brand-new 1,500-square foot, energy-efficient New England-style farmhouse.

And if all goes according to plan, it’ll be given away to a lucky winner in a nationwide contest.

Rutland City came to own the property at 60 Cleveland Avenue because of unpaid taxes.
