NEW YORK (Reuters) – Former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison on Monday for sending sexually explicit messages to a 15-year-old girl, setting off a scandal that played a role in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Weiner, 53, started to cry as soon as the sentence was announced by U.S. District Judge Denise Cote in Manhattan. He pleaded guilty in May to transferring obscene messages to a minor, and agreed he would not appeal any sentence of 27 months or less.   Continue reading “Ex-U.S. Rep. Biotech company Oxitec announced on Sept. 5 that it has started releasing genetically modified (GM) moths in Geneva, New York. Globally, only two types of GM insects have ever been released. GM mosquitoes have been released in Brazil, Panama, the Cayman Islands, and Malaysia. And a GM pink bollworm was briefly released about 10 years ago in Arizona. Both the mosquitoes and bollworms were also made by Oxitec.

The genetic changes made to the newly released moth are much more complex, however, than those made to the bollworm—which was modified to glow for tracking and study purposes.   Continue reading “GM Moths Released in US for First Time: A Major Step for ‘Frankenbugs’”

In a press conference in New York City, Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho says that the US has declared war on North Korea, giving them the right to shoot down US bombers in international airspace.

“The whole world should clearly remember it was the U.S. who first declared war on our country…Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.” (source)

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Sen. John McCain says doctors have given him a “very poor prognosis” as he battles brain cancer.

McCain underwent surgery in July for a brain tumor that was later found to be a form of glioblastoma, the same type of cancer that took the life of his former Senate colleague Edward M. Kennedy in 2009. McCain tells CBS’ “60 Minutes” in an interview that aired Sunday night that he thinks about Kennedy a lot. He says Kennedy continued to work despite the diagnosis and “never gave up because he loved the engagement.”   Continue reading “McCain calls brain cancer prognosis ‘very poor’”

IRBIL, Iraq (AP) — Iraqi Kurds cast ballots on Monday in their autonomous region and in a wide sweep of captured territories on whether to seek independence from Baghdad, a historic vote that has also raised tensions and fears of instability.

The referendum is non-binding and will not immediately bring independence, but it would mark a definitive stance by the Kurds to break away, and Kurdish leaders say they will use a “yes” vote to press for negotiations with Iraq’s central government to win statehood.  Continue reading “Iraqi Kurds vote in referendum on independence from Baghdad”

SPINDALE, N.C. (AP) — When Randy Fields’ construction company faced potential ruin because of the cratering economy, he pleaded with his pastor at Word of Faith Fellowship church to reduce the amount of money he was required to tithe every week.

To his shock, Fields said church founder Jane Whaley proposed a divine plan that would allow him to continue tithing at least 10 percent of his income to the secretive evangelical church while helping his company survive: He would file fraudulent unemployment claims on behalf of his employees. She called it, he said, “God’s plan.”   Continue reading “Church used unemployment scam to boost funds, ex-members say”

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — An airplane uniquely configured for Alaska that could leave passengers sharing the main deck with a kitchen sink, this week’s groceries or a herd of reindeer is about to be taken out of service.

Alaska Airlines is retiring its combi planes, Boeing 737-400s designed to be half cargo immediately behind the cockpit and then seating for 72 passengers in the rear. The planes were the workhorse for the airline, moving goods and people across the nation’s largest state.   Continue reading “Planes designed for Alaska to take final flight”

The warnings may be coming too late for the eastern United States as Hurricane Maria pushes Northwest. Whether Maria will be a tropical storm or hurricane when she hits North Carolina remains to be seen, but it’s almost certain that some kind of major storm will strike tomorrow with direct force. Unlike Harvey and Irma, the third hurricane in a month won’t have a week-long warning period for people to get prepared. Meteorologists have been uncertain up until now whether the storm will affect the coast or head harmlessly out to sea and have said that a hit is unlikely up until now.   Continue reading “The Third Hurricane in a Month: Last Minute Warnings Issued for North Carolina and the East Coast”

If you’ve gone to get new tires recently, you may have already dealt with the latest outcropping of technocratic busybodyism: The scanning of your car’s electronic ear tag, its Vehicle Identification Number or VIN.

The VIN is a bar code – literally – just like the one on the packages of stuff you buy at the supermarket or anywhere else that’s corporate. The VIN specifically identifies your car – including every last detail about it, such as the engine/transmission it came with, the color it was painted and the tires it came equipped with from the factory.   Continue reading “Tire Tyranny”

The good news is the world didn’t end last Saturday. The bad news is – at least according to one Doomsday writer – is we have a new date for the apocalypse.

David Meade is a Christian numerologist who predicted the world would end Sept. 23 after being struck by a rogue planet, called Nibiru or Planet X. Meade said his prediction was based on Biblical verses and codes that pointed to that date.

Saturday came and went without a cosmic collision and now, Meade said there’s a new Doomsday date: Oct. 15.   Continue reading “Goofy-Ass Alert: Man who claimed world would end Sept. 23 has a new Doomsday date”

On Sunday evening, President Trump announced he would replace his controversial travel ban with a targeted list of restrictions that will enhance vetting for nationals from eight countries, and restrict or prohibit entry of citizens from North Korea and Venezuela among others, to the United States as part of a sweeping new travel ban that also slaps restrictions on Iran, Chad, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Somalia – countries that hardly have a “thriving” tourism industry with the US.   Continue reading “Trump Expands Travel Ban To Eight Countries, Adds North Korea, Venezuela”

White House adviser and President Donald Trump‘s son-in-law Jared Kushner has used a private email account to communicate with White House staffers, his attorney confirmed to ABC News.

“Mr. Kushner uses his White House email address to conduct White House business. Fewer than a hundred emails from January through August were either sent to or returned by Mr. Kushner to colleagues in the White House from his personal email account,” Kushner attorney Abbe Lowell said in a statement.  Continue reading “Jared Kushner used personal email to communicate with White House officials”

Well it’s not completely dead, but it’s definitely going to need life support, because most of the once-popular sources of real news have sold themselves to Zion, and are now shoveling whatever dung will make them a few bucks. This makes them no better than any other television station.

Alternative news websites were born out of patriotic desire to expose the truth to the American people, but unfortunately, there’s no money in exposing the truth, and in fact, exposing too much truth insures that you’ll never make a dime, regardless of how many people come to your website to read it. Half of the truth is just another lie, and real truth-movers know it.

As a result of Zionist coercion of advertisers, as well as their control of payment systems, there now exists only a precious few websites willing to tell the whole truth, and they can probably use a little financial help. How much do you pay every month to be brainwashed by cable TV? Let’s not forget to donate to the people working to save our country. Without real news, we’re all screwed.   Continue reading “Alternative News is Dead”
