A man in Hollywood, Florida who owns a Call Center recently posted a video of his encounter with CPS (Child Protective Services) and local law enforcement. Three Michigan police officers, who shot two dogs for lunging and barking at them during a drug raid, were once again justified in their actions — this time by a federal appeals court.
Mark and Cheryl Brown of Battle Creek, Mich., filed suits over unreasonable seizure of their property and a violation of their constitutional rights for the deaths of their pets. NEW YORK — For more than two years, Lance Crowder was having severe abdominal pain and vomiting, and no local doctor could figure out why. Finally, an emergency room physician in Indianapolis had an idea.

The Obama administration is expected to announce as early as tomorrow the retaliatory steps it plans to take against Russia for the alleged cyberassault that may have affected the U.S. presidential election, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Federal authorities are also expected to lay out in further detail why it is so confident that Russia was behind the hacks and tried to influence the U.S. election. About 200 people showed up at a Philadelphia mall on Tuesday in a disturbance planned on the social media app Snapchat, leading led to four arrests, ABC affiliate WPVI reported.

If you’ve never seen a moose, do. They’re giants. A bull can weigh 1500-lbs and stand damn near 7-feet tall. Up close they seem larger. Elephantine. Handily the second-largest animal walking around North America, the long gangly legs of a moose make it seem like a car could whiz right underneath their broad ribs. As this video shows, they cannot. According to the albeit dubious Washington Post, the Obama administration will soon announce retaliatory measures against Russia for the putative role it played installing Donald Trump in the White House.

President Barack Obama added an additional $7.917 trillion to America’s national debt, which amounts to a 68 percent increase from the $11.657 trillion debt level President George W. Bush accrued by the end of his presidency.
While there are several ways to determine a president’s contribution to the U.S. debt, the most accurate figure is achieved by combining the budget deficits from each fiscal year and adding the total amount to whatever the debt level was at when the last president left office. BB guns, climbing trees, snake hunting through the woods (when it was warm enough), exploring, in general – these were the things that occupied my brothers’ time. Tony Award–winning actor George S. Irving passed away Monday at age 94, Deadline reports. Famous for gruff, crotchety characters, Irving made his debut on Broadway in the chorus of Oklahoma!, and went on to perform in Call Me Mister, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Irene — for which he won a Tony Award and starred opposite Debbie Reynolds. The author of Watership Down, Richard Adams, has died aged 96, his daughter has said.
Juliet Johnson said her father had been “ailing for some time” but “died peacefully” on Christmas Eve.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Following a year of deadly confrontations between police and citizens across the U.S., police in Alaska’s capital city are spearheading a campaign to turn 2017 into a community-wide year of kindness.

JERUSALEM (AP) — A senior Israeli Cabinet minister on Wednesday called U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s planned Mideast policy speech a “pathetic step,” further heightening tensions between the two close allies as the Obama administration prepares to leave office.
The comments by Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan were the latest salvo in a toxic exchange following the U.S.’s refusal to veto a U.N. Security Council resolution last week that called Israeli settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem a violation of international law. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has slammed the resolution, and accused the U.S. of colluding with the Palestinians in drawing it up. President-elect Donald Trump said that the U.S. “cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect” hours before Secretary of State John Kerry was set to give a speech on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
