“…if I had foreseen the use those people designed to make of their victory, there would have been no surrender at Appomattox Courthouse; no sir, not by me. Had I foreseen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox with my brave men, my sword in my right hand.” ~ Robert E. Lee
When will these local Police Chiefs and Elected County Sheriffs better count the cost before they sign an agreement with Homeland security. When there is money from DHS or some other Federal agency. There are strings attached that violate state and Federal laws they are asked to do. This federal grant money serves to federalize local law enforcement as a force multiplier. Our local law enforcement in many areas in America is now paid mercenaries as independent contractors. Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- There are many people who advocate for bans on guns, but most of them are smart enough to know that the way to obtain such bans is incrementally, as has been done for the last 75 years.
Why can’t you walk down to the corner hardware store and buy a gun muffler for your pistol or rifle, like they do in Finland? Because a gun ban passed in 1934. Continue reading “Combating the ‘No One Wants to Ban Guns Lie’”
New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- It is no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention that New Jersey is controlled by a powerful Gun Control Cartel.
They are particularly well-funded and have taken control of both houses and the Judicial Branch of our state government.
There may still be some hope of salvaging the Executive branch if we work fast and smart. The key to our success is understanding that they are indeed a Cartel and that they don’t play by the same rules as you and I. Continue reading “Breaking the Back of The NJ Gun Control Cartel”
Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- In Louisiana, a court case is headed to the Supreme Court, based on the right to keep and bear arms amendment that was overwhelmingly approved by voters last year.
The case is one of those that people point at as showing the insanity of the law. Rico Webb, a 22 year old man with no criminal record, was in his girl friend’s car when it was stopped for a broken taillight. He had possession of a legal handgun, and he told police that he had a “blunt” (small cigar with marijuana filler) in his backpack. Continue reading “Louisiana Right to Arms Amendment To Be Tested”

Eight major studies of identical twins in Australia, the U.S., and Scandinavia during the last two decades all arrive at the same conclusion: gays were not born that way.
“At best genetics is a minor factor,” says Dr. Neil Whitehead, PhD. Whitehead worked for the New Zealand government as a scientific researcher for 24 years, then spent four years working for the United Nations and International Atomic Energy Agency. Most recently, he serves as a consultant to Japanese universities about the effects of radiation exposure. His PhD is in biochemistry and statistics. Let me begin by saying that the deal the U.S. struck with Iran on November 24 is so criminally stupid that mobs with torches and pitchforks should be surrounding the White House and Department of State demanding that the President and Secretary of State resign.
How many times does the United States have to make really bad deals with really bad nations? And then call it progress! Continue reading “The Prospect of World War Three”
WASHINGTON – The House is expected to vote late Monday on renewing a 25-year-old law that bans the production of undetectable guns, in an age when new technology could open the door to at-home production of plastic weapons.
The law itself is set to expire on Dec. 9, and lawmakers are divided on whether to renew it. Continue reading “House set to vote on bill banning plastic guns amid 3D printing worries”
BANGKOK – Thailand’s prime minister said Monday she is willing to do anything it takes to end violent protests against her government and restore peace, but cannot accept the opposition’s “unconstitutional” demand to hand power to an unelected council.
Yingluck Shinawatra’s comments, broadcast in a televised news conference, highlighted the unusual political deadlock Thailand finds itself in with no clear solution in sight even as violence on the streets continues to rise. A National Rifle Association affiliate says Massachusetts is “abusing” law-abiding citizens by delaying the issuance of firearm licenses beyond the time frame outlined by state law.
The Gun Owners Action League (GOAL), which represents 16,000 members in Massachusetts and is the official state affiliate of the NRA, reports that many people applying for licenses have been experiencing long delays. Ever since Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis, his “common man” approach to the world has impressed observers and made many Catholics feel closer to their church. For just about as long, activists in and outside of the Catholic Church have tried to claim him as a voice for the Left.
Despite some early confusion introduced by an interviewer with an agenda, the pope’s words and actions relating to abortion, gay marriage, contraception, the ordination of women, and more clearly have taken him out of that camp as far as social doctrine is concerned. Economic policy, however, seems still up for grabs. Continue reading “Rush Limbaugh and the Pope”

Mayor Michael Bloomberg was in Bermuda on Sunday when a train derailed in the Bronx, the most recent time that the mayor has been out of town when a major incident in New York City occurred, a person familiar with the matter said.
Mr. Bloomberg, who steps down on Dec. 31 after 12 years at City Hall, was playing golf Sunday at Bermuda’s majestic Mid Ocean golf club, a person who spotted the mayor said. The Metro-North Railroad train derailment — killing four people and injuring more than 60 others — occurred at roughly 7:20 a.m. New York time. Hollywood, Fla. Standing here on the streets of Hollywood with two comely Obamacare cheerleaders by my side, I’m feeling fired up and ready to go. I’m feeling like the change I’ve been waiting for. I’m feeling like whatever Obama cliché you can think of. And all I want to say, like the late Todd Beamer before me, is, “Let’s roll.” Or more like, “Let’s enroll.” Because much as Beamer, God rest his soul, took on the terrorists who tried to take down America, we are now in a similar cataclysmic fight: the fight to guarantee that every American has the right to buy overpriced health insurance on a glitchy website, under threat of punitive tax penalties. Yesterday, while the rest of the world was captivated by a twerking turkey, Ashton Kutcher faced off with Wal-Mart over the retail giant’s low wages. On Twitter. Because of course it was on Twitter.
The Twitter showdown started when Kutcher tweeted criticism of an Ohio Wal-Mart’s holiday drive for its own employees who are facing “unforeseen hardships.” Continue reading “Ashton Kutcher Stands Up for Wal-Mart Workers Rights… What?”
