North Korean leader Kim Jong-un issued a secret order to “complete preparations for a nuclear weapons test between Tuesday and yesterday” and carry it out sometime soon, a source told the JoongAng Ilbo.

‘The experts did not see it coming.’ Now, where have we heard this before? Apparently the economy in the United States shrank the last quarter of 2012. From July through September a 3.1% gain was reported. Remember, this was the beginning of our new boom coming up on the 2012 election. And then in the 4th quarter, BAM!, we had a negative growth of 0.1%.
Now what is wrong with this picture? Well, coming up on the election, we hanging out here in reality tried to tell you that the GDP numbers being put out were a lie just like the unemployment numbers are a lie. Then at that the end of the 4th quarter, the books had to be balanced. The 4th quarter consists of October through December, you know, our harvest and Christmas season, the best our economy gets all year. When our roommate and close friend Paulie was killed by Officer Heimsness, he was just trying to come home. Paulie had moved in only a few days before, and in the dark he mistook the nearly identical house two doors down for ours. Our neighbor recognized him and tried to make sure he made it home safely. His wife, unsure of what was going on, decided to call the police as a precaution. Paulie never made it home.
Officer Heimsness shot Paulie even though he was unarmed and, according to eyewitness accounts, backing away with his hands up. Continue reading “Police killed our roommate”
Military forces in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan have raised their alert levels following an Israeli attack inside Syria on Wednesday.
The Arabic-language daily Lebanese newspaper Addiyar reports that Syria has moved troops to the Israel-occupied Golan Heights, the Lebanese Army has reinforced its southern outposts and Jordan has positioned troops on the Jordan River border with Israel, according to The Voice of Russia.
DEBKAfile reports that the Russian fleet in the Mediterranean is also on high alert. Its military sources claim that “Turkish units on the Syrian border are on high preparedness although Ankara played down the reports of the Israeli air strike in Syria, uncomfortable over the fact that the Israeli Air Force was the first external power to intervene directly in the Syrian conflict.” Continue reading “High Military Alert Across Middle East Following Israeli Attack Inside Syria”

WASHINGTON — Some families could get priced out of health insurance due to what’s being called a glitch in President Barack Obama’s overhaul law. IRS regulations issued Wednesday failed to fix the problem as liberal backers of the president’s plan had hoped.
As a result, some families that can’t afford the employer coverage that they are offered on the job will not be able to get financial assistance from the government to buy private health insurance on their own. A 22-year-old Ohio father was arrested for posting a photo on Facebook of himself holding his baby daughter and a BB gun.
Dominic Gaines was charged with child endangerment for posing in a photo with his 1-year-old daughter, Paradise Gaines, while also holding what was mistaken for a deadly weapon. Police say the gun was positioned too close to the baby girl to be considered safe. The child’s mother discovered the picture and the maternal grandmother called the police.

Thanks to your overwhelming support, and the support of other organizations and individuals, Wyoming House Bill 114, the Wyoming Liberty Preservation Act, passed committee 6-3 and will now advance to the House floor. On Tuesday evening, at the head of a media firestorm, the Transportation Committee held a hearing on the bill, and passed it with a decisive 6-3 vote.
Our battle however, is not yet over. HB 114 will be debated on the House floor within the next few days. The deadline for bills to be heard on the house floor is Monday, February 4th, and, if the bill has not come up in committee of the whole by then, it will die due to lack of time left in the session.
