United States health officials and authorities are on high alert after three passenger aircraft have been quarantined at U.S. airports in the past two days.

It all started on Wednesday when an Emirates airline pilot reported to air traffic control that about 100 people aboard the 500 seat superjumbo jet abruptly fell ill with flu-like symptoms while in route to the U.S. from Dubai.

Once the aircraft arrived at JFK International Airport it was met by hundreds of authorities along with CDC officials which proves the severity of the situation. Especially due to the fact that the current Ebola strain has a mortality rate of over 75%which is by far the deadliest strain ever to culminate.

Astonishingly, hip-hop artist Vanilla Ice a.k.a. Robert Van Winkle was on the tarmac aboard the plane at that time and was able to capture video of the situation.

“So I just landed in New York coming back from Dubai and now I’m stuck on the runway with like 1000 police, ambulances, fire trucks, this is crazy,” the “Ice Ice baby” rapper posted to his Facebook Wednesday.

Additionally, Ice Tweeted: “This is crazy. Apparently there is over 100 people sick on the bottom floor, so happy I’m up top, it’s a double-decker plane 380.”

The 50-year-old Florida-based rapper later told WPBF that was happy to be home in Palm Beach and said it was a “crazy day.”

Ultimately, the CDC deemed 19 people sick on the Emirates flight and put them into forced quarantine. The CDC will be monitoring hundreds of other passengers, according to reposts.

However, to make matters worse two additional inbound flights were quarantined at Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday.

A total of twelve passengers were put into forced quarantine from two separate American Airline flights.

NBC 10 reports:

Several of the sick passengers were returning from pilgrimages to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, on American Airlines flight 755, which originated in Paris. These travelers exhibited similar symptoms to the 19 passengers, also travelling from Mecca, who were quarantined in New York Wednesday morning, according to customs officials.

Additional passengers Philadelphia-bound American Airlines flight 717 from Munich, Germany, also showed flu-like symptoms. They, too, were returning from Mecca.

Then, to top it all off a fourth plane was also quarantined at an airport in Perpignan, France Wednesday after it was suspected passengers fell ill from a cholera outbreak, as Sputnik News reported.

From Sputnik News:

The plane with 141 people onboard, including five children, had been blocked since 1:50 p.m. local time after it had arrived from Algeria.

According to preliminary data, upon arrival, a crew member signaled that one of the passengers, reportedly a child, was ill. The authorities immediately took the child and his mother into the airport for treatment. The other passengers were asked to disinfect their hands.

Moreover, an Ebola containment jet arrived in Bangor, Maine on Wednesday.

Peter Harvey Tweeted on Tuesday: “ ‘Ebola Jet’ operated by shady CIA linked Phoenix Air has filed a flight plan into Doncaster Sheffield airport to arrive tomorrow at 7:30 am from Bangor, Maine, USA.”

  1. “Moreover, an Ebola containment jet arrived in Bangor, Maine on Wednesday.”

    Misprint.

“Moreover, an Ebola disbursement jet arrived in Bangor, Maine on Wednesday.”

Nobody really proofreads these stories anymore, do they.

  2. My sister and her family visited Japan last year. Getting off the plane, they were scanned by a thermal camera…any person with a fever is immediately quarantined. Not a bad idea.
