Once upon a time, there was a Land full of mountains, deserts, lakes, and plains. The person who got to run the country was selected by the same tradition for hundreds of years. In this particular year, the choice was between an Evil Queen and a Loud Ogre.

The Evil Queen was confident she had the job. She and her followers had gone to great lengths to secure the vote, and some of those lengths were quite questionable. We learned this because of a brave knight locked away in an Ecuadoran Embassy, typing away on a computer to let all of the people know the truth about the Evil Queen if only they dared to read it.   Continue reading “More Tales from the Election That Wouldn’t End”

There’s a brand new way to save the planet, and a group of professors from Oxford University wants to force the issue by assessing enormous taxes on foods said to have higher “climate impact.”

To make a long story short, they want to force everyone that doesn’t have a high income to become vegan by taxing the living daylights out of animal products. If you think your grocery bill is out of control now, just you wait if these scientists get their way.   Continue reading “Save the Planet from Climate Change: Tax Meat by 40%”

Anyone who has ever had a toddler knows that when your little one falls down, often, they look to you before deciding whether they should cry or not. If you rush over and say, “Oh you poor baby, you’re hurt” then the wailing commences. If you glance over and say, “You’re okay. You’re a tough cookie. Get back up,” then you’re teaching them that the proper response to falling is shaking it off and getting up again. We’re instilling courage and resilience when we do this.   Continue reading “Schools and Colleges Are Making Students Even More Terrified of Trump”

Those of us who are not in favor of getting nuked were very pleased to hear that the day after the election, the mainstream media’s proclaimed enemy President Vladimir Putin of Russia sent a congratulatory telegram to President-Elect Donald Trump.

The contents were shared in a release from the Kremlin:   Continue reading “Not Everyone in Washington Is Happy That Trump and Putin Are Getting Along”

After a week of protests that have only been escalating in violence, finally, Senator Bernie Sanders finally had something to say about the protests, unlike the still-silent Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

But Sanders, the author of a brand new book published this week called, interestingly enough, Our Revolution, didn’t denounce the protests. He didn’t reject the violence and destruction – in fact, he didn’t address that part at all.   Continue reading “Bernie Sanders Finally Commented on Anti-Trump Protests, But It Wasn’t to Ask Them to Stop”

Some nights, I go to bed thinking that the world cannot get any more ridiculously politically correct.

Then, I wake up the next morning, only to discover that it can, indeed.

Back in 1819, Thomas Jefferson founded the University of Virginia. His goal was to create an education facility with a broader range of courses than the College of William and Mary, which he said was mired in religion and didn’t offer enough lessons in the sciences. The school was built on land that he could overlook from his hilltop mansion, Monticello and he designed the architecture of the original buildings himself.   Continue reading “People at UVa Object to Quotes by Thomas Jefferson, the Founder of UVa”

Angela Merkel and nearly every other national leader in Europe are in a panic because of Trump’s unexpected win in the Presidential election.

Why?

Because, money, of course. The US money that props up NATO may be coming to an end.

During his election campaign, President-Elect Trump described NATO as obsolete.   Continue reading “EU Convenes Panic Meeting Because Trump Might Stop Funding 73% of NATO”

In case you wondered about the mindset of the people protesting, let me help you out.

They are filled with rage and contempt.

They aren’t just disappointed in the outcome. The tolerant left outright hates anyone who feels differently about the results of the election. Caveat: Obviously, not every single person who is outraged at Hillary Clinton’s defeat is seething with hatred, but if you go to Twitter, you can see the harsh words of some very vocal dissenters.   Continue reading “This is How Some of the Anti-Trump Protesters Feel About the Rest of America”

Remember how Twitter kicked out Milo Yiannopolis for being mean and censored the hashtag #HillaryforPrison?

Well, I guess that censorship is a one-way street because the repugnant hashtag #RapeMelania was trending this morning and no one at Twitter seemed to feel that was worth censoring. Other recent allowable Twitter trends have been #DieWhitesDie and #AssassinateTrump – but that’s cool too.   Continue reading “Where’s the Feminist Outrage as #RapeMelania Trends on Twitter?”

In a world full of political correctness, safe spaces, participation trophies, and social justice, a whole bunch of Millennials just got a big, painful dose of reality.

All of those kids who have expensive college degrees that didn’t train them to do anything productive just discovered that the world could and will say “no” to them.

And what happened?

All across the country, the election of Donald Trump is being protested with increasing fervor. Despite all odds (since all the public odds were rigged)  Trump’s sweeping win of the electoral vote was a stunning blow to Hillary Clinton supporters and they’re rioting in the streets. If they want martial law, this behavior is how you get martial law.

And they aren’t taking their loss gracefully. They’re shouting, swearing, crying, and, according to the most frequent word I’ve seen, absolutely terrified.  They seem unaware of the irony that when they refer to Trump as a fascist, they’re actually the ones protesting a legitimately elected leader simply because their candidate didn’t win.   Continue reading “Trump Protest Feed: Violence and Vandalism Are Escalating Rapidly”

It’s incredibly sad when you thought you had friends, a church family, a close-knit neighborhood and strong familial bonds only to find they were too shallow to survive a vote. Due to social media, we now have a little too much insight into the opinions of others, and it’s dividing relationships that were otherwise loving and healthy.

Facebook is littered with stories of friendships ripped apart by voting disagreements. A friend of mine lost over half her Twitter contacts retweeted several pro-Trump Tweets, and she’s not even American.   Continue reading “Politics and Social Media Are Ripping Apart Families, Friendships, Churches”

Paid instigators are making an already bad situation much much worse.

This entire election has been one for the history books, but as the Marxist sociologist Walter Benjamin said in an essay, “History is written by the victors.” The story of this crazy year will be told by the next person who holds the title of President of the United States.

But, it seems that the present is written by those in control as well.   Continue reading “Deception, Dissonance, Distraction, and the Devolution of America”

Although it doesn’t appear that Austyn Crites was trying to assassinate Donald Trump, it’s very interesting that he does appear in the Wikileaks dumps…not once but SEVEN TIMES.   Continue reading “No One Tried to Assassinate Donald Trump…But Austyn Crites Shows Up in Wikileaks 7 Times”

Despite the fact that the FBI is about to prove she is as guilty as sin, somehow, Hillary Clinton still seems quite confident that she’s going to be the next President of the United States.

So confident, in fact, that her campaign has already advised the New York City Police and Fire Departments of her plans for a victory fireworks display in the city.   Continue reading “They’re Still So Sure of Victory That Clinton’s Fireworks Party Scheduled to Start BEFORE All Votes Are Counted”

That basically sums up the current election cycle. The FBI seems to be sick of the DoJ’s favoritism. Two separate sources have told Fox News about serious new breaks in the investigation. The fact that this is being reported on an MSM site is huge. Bigger than huge.

When I was reading the news this morning, I discovered a quote that was so very ironic, I wanted to think that it was satire.

But it wasn’t.

The Clinton campaign, who really liked the FBI during their first go-round,  had the audacity to say now that the FBI has double standards.   Continue reading “Clinton Campaign Says FBI Has “Double Standards” as Podesta’s Bestie Runs the New DoJ Email Investigation”

When you roll around with pigs, you shouldn’t be surprised when you end up covered in crap.

That is the harsh lesson being learned by those in Hillary Clinton’s inner circle right now.
