Photos of America’s early gun makers holding their firearms have been colorized as the United States recovers from its second mass shooting in just five weeks.

The first successful machine gun, a semi-automatic shotgun and the Winchester repeating rifle are all featured in photographs colorized by 39-year-old Matt Loughrey of My Colorful Past, based in Westport, Ireland.   Continue reading “Colorized pictures reveal the gunmakers from America’s history”

The psychology behind these mass attacks is something of a brilliantly thought out plot by the anti-gun agents. It’s become obvious to me that when the weak minded among us see these brilliantly executed missions, in which huge numbers of innocent people are executed to do nothing more than try and confiscate American firearms, they want to copy for their own pleasure.

This has become the new weapon against the pro-gun American National.  Continue reading “Mass Shootings the New Norm – How the Weak Are Sucked In”

The diversity and innovation in today’s RV and camper industry is simply stunning. Campers can now rotate 360 degrees, hide a sports car in a mobile garage, or travel anywhere off road.

But for all the bells and whistles, some campers just don’t seem all that livable. That’s not the case with the new 215-square-foot trailer from Santa Barbara-based Living Vehicle. For eight years Hofmann Architecture specialized in custom Airstream renovations and now the company has turned to designing a mobile space where you can live off-grid all the time.   Continue reading “Shiny aluminum camper is built to go off-grid”

There are about 3.35 million Muslims in the United States right now, according to recent Pew Research Center’s Factank figures.

But by 2050, that particular population is projected to grow — from about 1 percent of the U.S. population to about 2.1 percent. If it does, that means America will be home to more Muslims than Jews.

Just something to think about, post New York City terror attack — a terror attack that we now know was committed by a radicalized Muslim who professed allegiance to ISIS.  Continue reading “Muslims to soon beat out Jews in U.S. population”

There’s a stereotype about the kind of civilian who patrols the US border, and Tim ‘Nailer’ Foley fits it. He’s a leathery, divorced, ex-military 58-year-old who lost everything in the 2008 economic crash, and he now stalks the Arizona border with a group of volunteers who feel the region isn’t as secure as ‘the media ‘ and ‘the government’ claim.

Foley worked in construction for most his life and knows his way around a firearm, but he’s about as cynical as a person can be – particularly when it comes to politicians, bureaucracy and the curtailment of cartels – while scouting some of the trickiest terrain on the line between the United States and Mexico.   Continue reading “One man’s border patrol to stop illegal crossings, drugs”

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) took aim at the current political environment, including apparent veiled swipes at President Trump, during a speech on Monday night.

Why Israel’s Stealth F-35I Is Truly One of a Kind

For fifty years, the United States has provided top-of-the-line fighter aircraft to help defend Israel from attack. Israel’s fielding of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, known locally as Adir, continues that tradition even as the country puts its own technological touch on the fifth-generation fighter. Unlike other F-35 customers, Israel is modifying its fighters from the outset to address unique security challenges and the country’s technological capabilities.   Continue reading “Why Israel’s Stealth F-35I Is Truly One of a Kind”

Because of the election of Donald Trump, we’ve all been forced to become more knowledgeable in matters of domestic and foreign policy, in order to separate fact from Trumpian exaggeration. Given this, it would be understandable if you think you understand how and why the Russians meddled in the last election. A new Frontline airing Wednesday, Putin’s Revenge, gives us new contexts and a clearer path to the meddling. A two-part production whose second hour will air next week, Putin’s Revenge is an urgent, absorbing piece of filmmaking: I gobbled down both episodes quickly.   Continue reading “How ‘Putin’s Revenge’ became Trump’s victory”

George Soros, the billionaire hedge fund manager and a major Democratic donor, has given $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations, one of the largest transfers of wealth ever made by a private donor to a single foundation.

The gift, made quietly over the past several years but disclosed only on Tuesday, has transformed Open Society into the second-biggest philanthropic organization in the United States, behind the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It will also place Mr. Soros, a lightning rod for conservative critics, squarely in the middle of the social and political debates convulsing the country.
