Dan’s memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3rd between 3:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. at Felland Park in Colfax WI. I’ve rented a pavilion there.

The US House of Representatives has approved a bill that would grant Israel over $600 million of American taxpayers’ money in military aid.

Once secret video recordings of a Guantanamo detainee being force-fed by his U.S. captors must be released to lawyers for review, a U.S. federal judge ordered on Wednesday.
The ruling marks the first time the US government has been ordered to give detainees’ lawyers videotapes of force-feedings and follows a protracted battle by the legal teams trying to defend those imprisoned at the off-shore prison against abuse. The co-pilot of missing flight MH370 made a call from his mobile phone while the aircraft flew low over the west coast of Malaysia, it was revealed today as the U.S. denied reports the plane landed at a military base on the remote island of Diego Garcia.
Investigators have learned that the call was made from Fariq Abdul Hamid’s mobile phone as the Boeing 777 flew low near the island of Penang, on the north of Malaysia’s west coast.
The New Straits Times reported the aircraft, with 239 people on board, was flying low enough for the nearest telecommunications tower to pick up Fariq’s signal. CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) – A Camden County Police Lieutenant has been removed from duty after he was accused of masturbating inside of a Starbucks in Cherry Hill.
Lt. Benito Gonzalez Junior has been charged with a disorderly persons lewdness offense.
An employee from a store on Route 70 reported the incident to authorities on May 7.

According to new NSA revelations at the The Intercept on Monday—reported by Ryan Devereaux, Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras—the U.S. National Security Agency “is secretly intercepting, recording, and archiving the audio of virtually every cell phone conversation on the island nation of the Bahamas.”
Based on documents provided by whistleblower Edward Snowden, the surveillance program in the Caribbean nation, known as much in the U.S. as home for off-shore banking and shell corporations as for its luxurious resorts, “is part of a top-secret system – code-named SOMALGET” which has been executed without the knowledge of the Bahamian government.
