An 11-year-old boy in Illinois was arrested by police while playing with a toy gun in the street with his friends. Police said they made the arrest after receiving a call from a driver, who complained the toy gun had been pointed at him.

The Granite City Police Department said it had been justified in arresting Chris Fulton because it had received a call from a driver saying the two boys were crossing the street slowly and, when the driver had asked the boys to hurry up, Fulton pointed the toy gun at him.   Continue reading “11yo Illinois boy arrested for playing with toy gun”

Of the 461 fatal police shootings in the US so far this year, 123 cases involved a person that was mentally or emotionally unstable, a new report reveals. In the first six months of 2015, US police shot a distraught person on average once every 36 hours.

An investigation by The Washington Post tracking all fatal police shootings in the US revealed that 123 of the victims were considered to be in the throes of mental illness. The paper based this on the person’s expressions of suicidal motivations, or a history of mental illness confirmed by a family member. Experts say the actual count may be even higher.   Continue reading “Quarter of US cop shooting victims were in mental distress – report”

A state district judge ruled Tuesday that a Dallas attorney can have a copy of a Twin Peaks franchisee’s video of the May 17 biker shootout, but the judge barred the release of the video to the public.

Judge Matt Johnson of Waco’s 54th State District Court also granted a prosecution request to place a gag order in the Matthew Alan Clendennen case, preventing attorneys on both sides, law enforcement officers and witnesses from discussing that case only in the media.

In arguing his case for release of the video, Dallas attorney Clint Broden said he needs to review the video to prove his client’s innocence and to help him prepare for an examining trial set for Aug. 10.   Continue reading “Judge prevents public release of Twin Peaks video, issues gag order”

“Imagine this: you want to buy and own Product X, which is valued at $10,000. You’re in a rare position. You can make that product sell for $1. You can do that. Then you can buy it and own it. In fact, you can do that with lots of products. Now, instead of products, imagine you can do that with whole companies, with industrial sectors, and even with large chunks of nations. You can spend $1 instead of $10,000. But wait, there’s more. You can re-inflate what you just reduced to $1. You can make it worth $10,000 again and you still own it. You can go up and you can go down. You control both sides of the mountain, the upside and the downside. This is money-management, Globalism-style. This is day-in, day-out manipulation. It’s done with the same routine configurations as making and having breakfast. A few of these configurations are calledtrade treaties.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)   Continue reading “Big money: pump and dump as a way of life”

They are negotiating it for “fast-track” and it is completely secret. . . . Continue reading “We Now Have a Government of the Corporations, by the Corporations and for the Corporations”
