On Thursday afternoon the White House was locked down once again. This time it was because a man flew a remote-controlled aerial device over the White House fence. I guess the new spikes wouldn’t have made a difference in that situation.
The incident resulted in the park of the north side of the White House being placed on lockdown and investigated. That lockdown has since been lifted. Continue reading “White House Locked Down AGAIN”
B. B. King, whose world-weary voice and wailing guitar lifted him from the cotton fields of Mississippi to a global stage and the apex of American blues, died on Thursday at his home in Las Vegas. He was 89.
One would think since the Republicans were the majority in both the Florida House and Senate a state shut down would be a non issue but that is not the case.
Governor Scott is worried it could become a reality as the July 1st deadline approaches and negotiations are not where he would like them to be. That is why on Thursday he told agency heads to prepare for the worst and asked them to list only the state’s most critical needs per the Associated Press. Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)- When the Oregon Senate passed expanded background checks on April 14 2015, it marked a change from 2013 and 2014, when the same type of legislation was taken up but defeated without even making it to the floor for a vote.
What was the difference in 2015? One huge differences was the influx of Michael Bloomberg’s money into the state, which showed itself not only in the establishment of an apparatus to help gun control candidates get elected but also in gifts to gun control senator Chuck Riley (D-Hillsboro). Ingred Larson received an eviction notice from the county today. Why? For living in a tent on her own property. Yes. Really. She is being evicted for living in a tent on her own land.
10 years ago the city sewer line flooded her home with 10,000 gallons of raw sewage. There was a settlement, however the city/county wants her to hook back up to the county sewer system, but Larson does not want to, and would rather hook up to the septic tank system on her property. The county doesn’t want that, and is forcing her to hook-up to the city sewer. Continue reading “North Carolina Woman Being Evicted From Her Own Land For Living in Tent”
The Department of Homeland Security does not maintain data on how many illegal immigrants it allows to stay in the U.S. through prosecutorial discretion — a failure that could have national security implications — the agency’s inspector general reported Wednesday.
The country’s rapidly growing marijuana industry has a tax problem. Even as more states embrace legal marijuana, shops say they are being forced to pay crippling federal income taxes because of a decades-old law aimed at preventing drug dealers from claiming their smuggling costs and couriers as business expenses on their tax returns.
Congress passed that law in 1982 after a cocaine and methamphetamine dealer in Minneapolis who had been jailed on drug charges went to tax court to argue that the money he spent on travel, phone calls, packaging and even a small scale should be considered tax write-offs. The provision, still enforced by the I.R.S., bans all tax credits and deductions from “the illegal trafficking in drugs.” Continue reading “IRS Enlists in the War on Legal Marijuana”
Apache Junction, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- For generations many youngsters started out with an inexpensive shotgun to start their activity in hunting.
I was one of those youths that started out with a bolt action Mossberg shotgun.
It was a 12 gauge with a barrel longer then a week but it served for some years until I got a little older. It harvested some rabbits and squirrels among other critters. Years ago if you used a shotgun for large game that was considered a handicap but that is no longer the case. Continue reading “Slug Ammo Review with a Mossberg 500 Shot Gun & Hawke Endurance Scope”

As if it weren’t infuriating enough that American taxpayers are being forced to house, feed, medically treat and educate the never-ending influx of illegal immigrant minors, the Obama administration is also doling out millions of dollars to provide them with free legal representation.
Unlike the criminal justice system, in immigration court the government doesn’t offer free lawyers to those who can’t afford them. This means that illegal aliens who don’t have the money to pay for one must represent themselves in legal proceedings or rely on volunteer attorneys or paralegals provided by immigrant rights groups. This leaves many illegal aliens in removal proceedings without adequate legal representation and that’s simply not acceptable to the president.
