Technology is not inherently evil. However, dependency upon it and authoritarian control over it can certainly be seen as either ignorant or evil.
When one considers the desire of the Powers that Shouldn’t Be to be omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, it doesn’t take long to arrive at the conclusion that the freedom garnered by such wonderful inventions as the internet is very much a double edged sword. We have electronic fingerprints. We are monitored at every site. If we wish to not be monitored, we are “suspect” for being unlike the herd they would have us be. I guess it raises your position in the herd managing system for culling. Continue reading “Transparency? Heck no! Shutting Down Cell Phones is for Your Safety”

California, especially California cities, have had a bad reputation for decades, of legally stealing firearms. This was primarily done with police officers confiscating firearms that they came across, without any crime being committed. Department policy was then to refuse to return the firearm unless a court ordered them to do so. As the process of obtaining a court order would ordinarily be much more costly than the price of a firearm, most people who had their firearms stolen by police simply did not bother in attempting to obtain a court order. The inspiration behind the picture the White House posted on Facebook appears to have been the fat-burning, sweat-provoking physical activities the president and first lady were encouraging at the annual Easter Egg roll.
But the blue boxing gloves on a rather puny-looking president provided the kind of inspiration to Twitter users that Obama’s handlers certainly didn’t anticipate, especially when you consider the photos available of a battered Harry Reid. Joni Mitchell is one of the most beloved of folk singers from the 1960’s protest and 70’s hippie era. She endeared many fans to her simple and sincere form of “music with a conscience.” Therefore, it is no surprise that she would somehow be chosen to confer legitimacy to a skin-crawling disease known as Morgellons.
In addition to being known as the Plague of the 21st Century, Morgellons is also known by many other names, each of which misrepresents the true seriousness or causes of the syndrome. Morgellons is in fact a multi-infection syndrome which has a number of different causative factors as well as various pathogenic micro-organisms present.
