Every day across the world, in China, Africa, and especially the Middle East, Christians are abused, oppressed, tortured and killed. Here in the United States where the Constitution supposedly guarantees religious freedom, bakers, florists, and pizzeria are fined and driven out of their small businesses because they declined to provide their services to homosexuals on grounds that doing so violates their Christian beliefs.   Continue reading “Atheists are now a protected class in Madison, Wisconsin”

Neonicotinoid pesticides are killing bees around the world, but many places are now beginning to ban these pesticides. (Image: healthnulady/Wickimedia Commons)Vision Times – by Troy Oaks

Pesticides are used all the time in agriculture and applied to plants and trees in gardens and parks. Bees and other pollinating insects play a vital role in food production. With the numbers of honey bees and other pollinating insects on the decline, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is stepping in.

The widespread use of neonicotinoid pesticides has been under scrutiny in recent years. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it was unlikely to approve new or expanded uses of certain pesticides while it evaluates the risks they may pose to honey bees.   Continue reading “Are Neonicotinoid Pesticides Killing our Bees?”

Pretty funny.

Egg McMuffins aren’t just mediocre pastries stuffed with microwaved eggs, bright yellow cheese and ham product. They are a form of tyranny.

That, at least, is the upshot of “Routine Republic,” a riveting and surreal new Taco Bell campaign from Deutsch. A year after the agency cheekily hired a bunch of guys named Ronald McDonald to celebrate the Mexican-themed fast-food chain’s first foray into breakfast, the shots at the Golden Arches are barely masked.   Continue reading “EVIL CLOWN: Taco Bell Launches Cold War Against McDonald’s With Soviet-Style Propaganda Imagery”

This probably goes without saying, but marijuana is a controversial topic — although opinion toward the substance, which is illegal at the moment, has been swaying toward legalization for the past decade.

On one side of the aisle the idea of legalizing marijuana and reaping tax and medical benefits could make sense. Sweeping marijuana legalization across the country, according to NerdWallet, could bring in more than $3 billion in revenue annually. While this isn’t going to put a huge dent in the national deficit, it is sizable enough to potentially ensure that some state and federal employees get to keep their jobs.   Continue reading “Uh-Oh! This Lawsuit Could Mean the End of Legal Marijuana”

Crows are believed to be among the most intelligent, if not the smartest of birds. But what happened to an 8-year-old girl in Seattle, Washington shows that, unlike so many humans, crows recognize and are grateful for acts of kindness.

It all began in 2011 when Gabi Mann first drew the attention of neighborhood crows. She was four years old and prone to dropping food. She’d get out of the car, and a chicken nugget would tumble off her lap. A crow would rush in to recover it. Soon, the crows were watching for her, hoping to catch the morsels of food that Gabi would drop.   Continue reading “Grateful crows bring gifts to girl who feeds them”

Ghost Hunting Theories

120 feet long and 1168 tons

Only partially completed, but showed signs of being over 1200 tons and 137 feet when done. How was this obelisk in Northern Egypt created and how would they have raised or move this? These are just some of the questions baffling everyone.

Best guess include the use of hard stones or chisels to split the rock and wooden wedges shoved into it and water added. Wet wood could swell and create pressure.    Continue reading “Enormous Obelisk Found: Baffles Researchers”
