A Madison police officer shot and killed a black teenager Friday night after the youth allegedly assaulted the officer, according to media reports.

The 19-year-old was shot shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Williamson St., the Wisconsin State Journal reported. SPOKANE, Wash.– Police with the Department of Homeland Security allowed armed activist on federal land Friday morning despite a recent order expanding weapons restrictions to federal grounds including the Thomas S. Foley.

The order and protest happened within the last week when an armed Iraq war veteran was arrested outside of the Thomas S. Foley Courthouse in Downtown Spokane. KALACHI, Kazakhstan, March 5 (UPI) — Residents of a Kazakhstan town are being affected by a sleep disorder in which some fall asleep suddenly and sleep for days.

Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-  On Friday, a female clerk at a Lexington, Kentucky tobacco shop took a firearm from a male robbery suspect, shot him, then beat him until he ran away.

According to WTVQ, Zara Adil was working at Discount Tobacco Zone when two men entered the shop, one of whom pulled a gun. To get the answer, the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey asked to see emails and other policy communications from top officials in the N.J. Department of Health.

Those requests were denied or otherwise rebuffed, the group said in a lawsuit filed yesterday that claims the state is in violation of the Open Public Records Act. We turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet, and put the cat in the backyard. We didn’t want the cat shut in the house because she always tries to eat the bird. Then we phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi.

WASHINGTON, March 4 (UPI) — A lone gunman responsible for several shootings in the Washington, D.C. area, including near the National Security Agency headquarters early Wednesday, has been arrested, the FBI said.

The suspect, whose name and age was not released, is thought to be responsible for shootings on the Intercounty Connector in Maryland, near the NSA at Fort Meade and other locations around the Baltimore and D.C. suburb area in the past two weeks. You see, the State of Utah is considering a bill that would recognize the rights of patients with certain debilitating conditions to use medical marijuana – or, more accurately, to use marijuana medically.

A fast-moving storm through Southern California on Monday dumped so much hail on Huntington Beach that it appeared to turn white.

According to the National Weather Service, at least an inch of icy pellets coated the sand at Huntington Beach after the system roared ashore Monday morning.
