Magpul left Colorado over new gun control laws and Beretta followed suit when Maryland went down the same anti-2nd Amendment path.

Now Colt Competition, which makes AR-15 style rifles, is leaving Connecticut. It’s heading to Texas, which is one of America’s most business-friendly and gun-friendly states.   Continue reading “Colt Moves Its AR-15 Plant To Texas Over Gun Control Laws”

The following list delves into the external consequences of the drug war to illustrate how drug users and non users alike, would be a lot better off if prohibition ended immediately.

The drug war is one of the most misunderstood subjects in the mainstream political dialogue, even among people who are sympathetic to the plight of responsible drug users. It is rare for someone to come out and say that all drugs should be legal, but in all honesty this is the only logically consistent stance on the issue. To say that some drugs should be legal while others should not is still giving credence to the punishment paradigm and overlooking the external consequences of drug prohibition, or prohibition of any object for that matter.   Continue reading “8 Reasons to End Prohibition of All Drugs Immediately”

Under Senator Harry Reid’s (D-NV) gun control bill (S. 649), if somebody steals your firearm or you lose it, you can go to prison for up to five years if you have not reported the theft or loss to local police and to Attorney General Eric Holder within 24 hours.

The provision merits ridicule for treating as a felon someone who misplaces a firearm and does not report it to the police and the federal government fast enough.   Continue reading “Reid’s Gun Control Bill Makes a Missing Firearm a Ticket to Five Years in Prison”

Tony Rooke refused to pay a TV license fee because the BBC intentionally misrepresented facts about the 9/11 attacks, he alleged. It is widely known that the BBC reported the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 over 20 minutes before it occurred. WTC 7 was a 47-story skyscraper that was not hit by a plane on 9/11 but collapsed at free-fall speed later that day.    Continue reading “UK Man Wins Court Victory Over BBC for 9/11 Coverup Broadcast”

The “constitution” is a “package deal.” It’s not a group of concepts that may be accepted in part. Where those concepts are not accepted, and implemented, collectively, in toto, the “message” is that it’s just simply “not there,” at all. The “constitution” is one of those classic “all or nothing” matters.

“Partial” application is the confession of our present legal reality that we do not now have, and have never had, a “constitution” as the language that brings the national governmental system into existence. Since the “constitution” is not now and has never been “admissible evidence of law,” it not only didn’t create the national system but also can’t limit the national system, either.   Continue reading “Original 13th Amendment — “Package deal” case study”

Undated image posted on militant website purports to show evidence of growing cross-border alliance between two powerful Sunni jihadi groups: Al-Qaida in Iraq and the Nusra Front in Syria. Before It’s News – by Mort Amsel

Al-Qaida in Iraq says it has united with a Syrian jihadist group fighting to oust President Bashar al-Assad.

An audio message from al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, posted on Islamist websites Tuesday, says his group has been funding cells from Syria’s al-Nusra Front.  The combined groups, the message says, will be called the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.   Continue reading “Al-Qaeda In Iraq Merges With Syrian Rebels”

According to a Northeast Middle School worksheet, “The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms, and “The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional.”

The worksheet, published by Instructional Fair, goes on to say that the Second Amendment is not incorporated against the states.   Continue reading “School in Connecticut Teaching Students ‘Americans Don’t Have Right to Bear Arms’”

A compound in cannabis plants, called CBDV, shows promise as a treatment for epilepsy, researchers say.LA Times- by Lee Romney

British researchers have determined that a little-studied chemical in the cannabis plant could lead to effective treatments for epilepsy, with few to no side effects.

The team at Britain’s University of Reading, working with GW Pharmaceuticals and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, tested cannabidivarin, or CBDV, in rats and mice afflicted with six types of epilepsy and found it “strongly suppressed seizures” without causing the uncontrollable shaking and other side effects of existing anti-epilepsy drugs.   Continue reading “Compound in cannabis may help treat epilepsy, researchers say”

Recent legal filings on behalf of Sirhan Sirhan, jailed 45 years ago in the death of Robert F. Kennedy, reveal new evidence suggestive of a larger conspiracy. The filings also enumerate examples of obstructive tactics by a government representative—contortions reminiscent of the Warren Commission’s incredible, acrobatic magic bullet that was essential in creating consensus for a lone wolf assassin in the death of RFK’s elder brother, John. (If you’d like to read those filings, we’ve posted them here and here.)   Continue reading “RFK Assassination Legal Case Update”

I haven’t fished much since I was a kid, mostly because I just don’t have the time.  I’m not going to cover the basics of fishing.  Instead, I want to go over some tactics for survival fishing.  Some of these ways to fish may or may not be legal in your area.  Check your local laws.  These are good things to have an understanding of.  If you find yourself in a survival situation, legal or not, you’ll do what you need to do survive.   Continue reading “Survival Fishing”

Colony Collapse Disorder has killed half of the honeybees in the United States this year alone. Catholic Online

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) – Scientists and beekeepers have been baffled by Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) which is characterized by the sudden disappearance of the hive’s worker population.

According to the USDA, Symptoms of CCD include few or no adult honeybees present, honey and immature bees (broods) remain present in the hive suggesting a sudden abandonment of the hive–a possible response to stress. However, the bees are never found elsewhere, they simply disappear and die. Usually, the queen bee is left behind but dies without establishing a new population.    Continue reading “Devastating honeybee loss reported across United States expected to impact food prices”

The First Basic Law of Human Stupidity asserts without ambiguity: always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation. At first, the statement sounds trivial. Closer scrutiny reveals its veracity. No matter how high are one’s estimates of human stupidity, one is repeatedly startled by the fact that: people whom one had once judged rational and intelligent turn out to be unashamedly stupid. Additionally, day after day, with unceasing monotony, one is harassed in one’s activities by stupid individuals who appear suddenly and unexpectedly in the most inconvenient places and at the most improbable moments. The Maryland government, under direct order of Obama and the EPA will now begin taxing the state’s 10 largest counties according to the rain that falls on their property and the “impervious surfaces” on their land.

Yesterday we reported that Wesley Snipes was finally released from prison after serving a 3 year sentence for refusing to pay the government extortion racket known as “taxation”.  If you had a difficult time seeing through the scam of taxation with that story, hopefully this one can show you how taxation is blatant theft and thuggery.   Continue reading “MD Residents to Pay New “Rain Tax” For Rain That Falls on Their Property”

ONTARIO — Ammunition was the hot item Saturday as gun enthusiasts from around Southern California converged on the Ontario Convention Center for the first day of the two-day Crossroads of the West Gun Show.

The Ontario Convention Center was busy with some people arriving and others leaving with such purchases as walking sticks to firearms cases. But of all the items available, ammo was at the top of many shopping lists.   Continue reading “Lines for ammo long at Crossroads of the West Gun Show in Ontario”

As politicians exploit the Newtown tragedy to promote new laws to restrict firearms and implement universal background checks that could lead to gun registration and confiscation, another parallel trend– namely, the increasing militarization of law enforcement, most visibly demonstrated by the growing use of massive, SWAT-type raids on businesses and individuals, sometimes with federal involvement or authorization – is heightening concerns that America is moving toward a police state.   Continue reading “The Growing Militarization of U.S. Police”

Kim Jong-Un is eagerly awaiting a phone call from Barack Obama, hoping that a one on one chat will ease the brewing tensions between the two nations and, quite possibly, to arrange a one on one game of hoops? I’d put my money on Kim after watching Obama’s latest shoot around. If you haven’t seen that yet, check out the videos down below for your ‘comedic relief’. We also learn that Kim has 8 nuclear warheads; hopefully they’re not all mounted on a satellite in space and aimed at America. According to Russian news agency Itar-Tass,    Continue reading “N. More Than 101 Million Working Age Americans Do Not Have A Job - Photo by Sage RossThe Economic Collapse – by Michael

The jobs recovery is a complete and total myth.  The percentage of the working age population in the United States that had a job in March 2013 was exactly the same as it was all the way back in March 2010.  In addition, as you will see below, there are now more than 101 million working age Americans that do not have a job.  But even though the employment level in the United States has consistently remained very low over the past three years, the Obama administration keeps telling us that unemployment is actually going down.    Continue reading “More Than 101 Million Working Age Americans Do Not Have A Job”
