Dianne Feinstein, the chair of the US Senate committee charged with holding the intelligence establishment to account, declared on Monday that the National Security Agency’s mass collection of phone records is “not surveillance” and should be maintained as an essential tool to combat terrorism.

According to a lawsuit, the guard accused her of “publicly singing spiritual hymns.”

47.6 million Americans are about to have their food stamp benefits cut, and most of them have absolutely no idea that it is about to happen.  Needless to say, a lot of them are going to be very angry when they discover that they cannot buy as much food for their families anymore.  The reason that this is happening is because a temporary boost to food stamp benefits that was put in during the last recession is expiring.  But most of the people that are having their benefits cut will not understand this.  Most of them will just be very upset that the government is “taking money away” from them.  And considering the “mini-riots” that we witnessed earlier this month when the system that processes food stamp payments went down for a few hours, it is obvious that a lot of food stamp recipients can very easily be pushed over the edge.  So what would happen if we have another “debt ceiling crisis” in Washington D.C. early next year and food stamp benefits are temporarily cut off completely?   Continue reading “Uh Oh: 47 Million Food Stamp Recipients Are Having Their Benefits Cut Back On November 1st”

The unprecedented removal from command, ending of military careers and forced retirements is a sign that a new reign of terror wants to weaken the armed forces. The civilian Obama command, bosses generals and admirals, as if they were lowly cooks or stewards. It is no wonder that resentment and disgust in the officer corps are at an all time high. Before long, the commander of collectivists will be deploying taste testers before he takes his meals.

The similarities of distrust and fear between the Soviet “Man of Iron” and the latest POTUS should not go unnoticed. Any student of the last century is familiar with the Stalinist mayhem. Russian history is plagued with atrocities, but the reign of Soviet commissars’ is especially brutal. Uncle Joe’s victims of Soviet Terror, is estimated at 20 million killed during the 1930s by V. The Department of Homeland Security is set to spend $80 million dollars on hiring a raft of armed guards to protect IRS and other government buildings in upstate New York during “public demonstrations” and “civil disturbances,” once again prompting concerns that the federal agency is preparing for food stamp riots, anti-tax demonstrations or some other form of domestic unrest.

Sent in by a reader, an interesting video for the USMC showing various weapon penetration effects.

It’s a good video, but I noticed a couple of oddities:

When you watch it, it would appear that the AK, firing 7.62 x 39mm rounds, is very effective at all angles against the structure. When you get on to the M240, which fires the 7.62 x 51 rounds (i.e. .308) it almost appears less effective, with not all rounds passing through the cinder block at a 45 degree angle.
