California’s Assembly passed a bill on April 25 that would permit non-U.S. citizens to serve on juries. If the bill, AB 1401, passes the Senate and is signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown, California would become the first state to allow this practice. Reports have claimed that the Iranian President was arrested this week and warned against releasing information which could prove damaging to the country’s Islamic regime.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was allegedly held for seven hours by the Revolutionary Guard on Monday and told to back down with claims that the regime defrauded voters at the last general election and allegations of fraud against political rivals. Daily Beast writer named Lee Siegel has issued an “edgy” rant about how much he hates the South, and how he wishes he wouldn’t have to deal with our politics, religion, people, or culture anymore.
Seigel’s display of contempt for flyover country isn’t even original, and appears to have been plagiarized wholesale from a 2004 rant by an anonymous fellow leftist. It’s hardly surprising that Seigel stole his rant. Those that refuse to allow diverging thoughts are by definition stuck regurgitating the same rhetorical hate speech. ERIE — Magpul Industries, the Erie-based ammunition magazine maker that pledged to leave Colorado after gun-control legislation was signed into law in March, is for the first time manufacturing its weapons accessories out of the state.

A new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has found a possible link between the practice of feeding commercial honeybees high-fructose corn syrup and the collapse of honeybee colonies around the world. A 255 pound metal piece which officials say is landing gear from the 9/11 attacks, has been removed after an NYPD investigation of an alleyway in New York City Tuesday.
NEW YORK CITY — Investigators left no stone unturned as the investigated an alleyway Tuesday that had been blocked off and secured since last week in light of a new discovery. According to officials the jagged looking piece of equipment is indeed connected to the attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. Two Kazakh men and a third man have been arrested by federal authorities in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings, a law enforcement official familar with the case said this morning.
The two men, Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, came to America from the Central Asian nation to study at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was also enrolled. The prepping community is always full of well-meaning advice about “where” a prepper should move to increase the chances of survival during an SHTF scenario, but the information on “how” to move is hard to find.
I’m in the process of getting ready for a big move – across the continent and into another country. I’ve been at this prepping gig for quite some time, and have relocated several times throughout, but I’ve never undertaken a venture this big. When we relocated here to the forests of Central Ontario, I thought the 8 hour drive in the moving van was a pretty big deal. Religious liberty groups have grave concerns after they learned the Pentagon is vetting its guide on religious tolerance with a group that compared Christian evangelism to “rape” and advocated that military personnel who proselytize should be court martialed.

SHINGLETON, Mich. – Police say an Iraq War veteran thwarted two would-be burglars at his northern Michigan gas station by kicking one of them and ordering them away with an AR-15 rifle.
State police said Shawn Schank was inside the gas station about 4:10 a.m. Sunday in Shingleton, an Upper Peninsula community in Alger County, when two people wearing ski masks forced their way into the building and approached the cash register.
