Last week, as the trial of Cliven, Ammon, and Ryan Bundy, along with Ryan Payne got underway, we reported on bombshells that were dropped by government witness Mary Ann Rugwell (my apologies for misspelling her name in the previous report), in which she testified that the Bureau of Land Management was not only supposed to merely round up the cattle and give them back to the Bundys, but that Cliven only owed $8,815 in trespass fees over ten years, not millions.

Piles of snow from Winter Storm Frankie and a bitter arctic blast settled over much of North America have proven to be a miserable and deadly combination.

The bitter cold that has reached temperatures as low as negative 36 degrees Fahrenheit in International Falls, Minnesota, this week has been responsible for a slew of unusual reports, including the death of a dog left to freeze to death on a front porch, as well as sharks succumbing to the elements. LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) — A man and a suspect died in a shooting that erupted inside a law office in Long Beach Friday, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 2:25 p.m. in the 300 block of East San Antonio Drive.

When authorities arrived, multiple people were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said a victim and the shooting suspect were dead at the scene. To his left is Roc Peeler, confined to a wheelchair — the rubber on its wheels worn to the rim — his way to get around after he lost his right leg to frostbite.

Their living room is a blend of dirt, brush and trash, while their walls are a web of blankets, tree limbs and chain-link fencing. NEW YORK (Reuters) – Investigators in New York City searched early on Friday for the cause of a blaze that ripped through an apartment building in the Bronx and killed 12 people including four children, in the city’s deadliest fire in at least a quarter of a century.

The fire broke out a little before 7 p.m. (0000 GMT) on the first floor of a brick building and quickly spread upstairs, city Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro told a news conference with Mayor Bill de Blasio. Topeka, KS — A 911 call over a disturbance in a local park would come to a violent end as police opened fire on a fleeing man earlier this year. The two officers would dump multiple rounds into the man’s back, killing him. After police investigated themselves, this week, the officers who fired their weapons, killing 30-year-old Dominique White have been justified in their use of force.

The incident began on the morning of Septemeber 28 at 9:20 a.m. when officers with the Topeka police department said someone called to report shots being fired during a disturbance in Ripley Park.
