“This Week” host George Stephanopoulos put Kellyanne Conway on the spot Sunday morning when the senior White House adviser tried to change the subject away from President Donald Trump’s role in crafting a misleading statement about his son’s meeting with a Russian lawyer last year.
Stephanopoulos pointed out that the White House and Trump’s surrogates have given conflicting statements about the level of Trump’s involvement in responding to initial reports that Donald Trump Jr. met with the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, last June, in a meeting that also included then-campaign manager Paul Manafort and senior adviser Jared Kushner. On August 9, 1945 on the day the second atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, president Truman, in a radio address to the American people, concluded that God is on the side of America with regards to the use of nuclear weapons and that “He May guide us to use it [nuclear weapons] in His ways and His purposes”. A somewhat contradictory discourse which seems embedded in US nuclear doctrine.
According to Truman: God is with us, he will decide if and when to use the bomb: Continue reading “God is on the Side of Us Americans. “He May Guide Us to Use It [Nuclear Weapons] In His Ways and for His Purposes””

very unique USAF surveillance aircraft has been flying highly defined circles over Seattle and its various suburbs for nine days now. Nobody at the DoD seems to know who the aircraft belongs to or what exactly it is doing flying so many missions over the Seattle area. But based on its visibly exotic configuration, and information collected by open source flight tracking websites, we can get a good idea of its capabilities and guess as to what it’s up to.
The aircraft, which goes by the callsign “SPUD21” and wears a nondescript flat gray paint job with the only visible markings being a USAF serial on its tail, is a CASA CN-235-300 transport aircraft that has been extensively modified for the surveillance mission. You can see more pictures of the aircraft here.

The use of biometric identification is becoming a real-time case study in how the public is incrementally conditioned to accept the total erosion of privacy for supposed convenience and security.
As I’ve been covering over the last several months, a 15-year-old mandate from the federal government to implement biometric ID for airline travel is finally being implemented at various airports throughout the United States. Meanwhile, countries like Australia and the UK also have airport biometrics programs rolling out, with Australia seeking to make it a requirement nationwide by 2020. The UK has gone even one step further and has been testing a system to be used on trains as well, also with a target date somewhere around 2020. The Bronx, NY — A family has filed a lawsuit against the NYPD after they say they were assaulted, pepper sprayed, and brutalized by cops for no reason. According to the lawsuit, 31-year-old Norma Reyes, who was pregnant at the time, lost her unborn child as a result of the abuse — part of which was captured on video.
The incident happened in May and, according to the family, it was an act of retaliation by the NYPD. In spite of Reyes, Julius Segars, the father of her unborn child, and his 16-year-old cousin Kurt Gorin, all being assaulted and arrested by police — none of them were charged with a crime.
