ROSENBERG (KTRK) — The Rosenberg Police Department is facing a civil lawsuit after claims of police using excessive force.

Cell phone video shows police arresting Christine and Steven Saenz in July 2014. However, the video does not show what led up to the incident.

Iris Canada, 99, has lived in her home for more than half a century, but she is facing eviction over $164,000 in legal fees that were accrued during a fight in housing court over a previous eviction notice. PASCAGOULA, Miss., June 28 (UPI) — Authorities are investigating the cause of a BP natural gas plant explosion in Pascagoula, Miss., that sent flames into the night sky late Monday.

“We would like to let our citizens know that there has been an explosion at the BP Gas Plant,” the Pascagoula Police Department said in a statement. “It is contained to the building. We are working with state and local officials regarding this.
