From the first landings in Virginia and Massachusetts in the early 1600’s, American settlers kept pushing westward behind an ever moving frontier. Into wild country went hunters, trappers, fur traders, miners, frontier soldiers, surveyors, and pioneer farmers. The farmers tamed the land and made it productive.
Every part of America had its pioneers. Whatever their surroundings, the pioneers had to depend on themselves and on the land. Self-reliance was a frontier requirement. Game provided food and leather clothing. New settlers gathered wild fruits, nuts, and berries. For salt they boiled the water of saline springs. Maple sugar was made by tapping maple trees in early spring and boiling the sap until it thickened into a tasty sweetening. The 96 supporters of Liverpool Football Club who died in Britain’s worst sporting disaster, were killed unlawfully, a jury ruled on Tuesday. It was decided that responsibility for the tragedy lay with officials and the authorities, not with the fans.
After answering “Yes” to the question “Are you satisfied, so that you are sure, that those who died in the disaster were unlawfully killed? Yes or no,” family members and relatives of the victims celebrated by clapping and hugging each other. Baby chicks…they’re adorable, fluffy, and incredibly delicate! Despite their fragility, they’re actually pretty simple to raise. If you have some outdoor space and live in an area where it’s allowed, fresh eggs and meat (if you’re interested in that) can easily be yours!

While it may be one of the most abundant natural resources on the planet, clean water is getting harder and harder to come by these days.
Australia Greens MP Jeremy Buckingham says fracking should be banned as a “global threat” to our water supply, and to prove his point, he literally took a lighter and set a river contaminated by fracking on fire. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Last summer, 10 officers shot at a man fleeing from them in an SUV after the officers thought the suspect had run into their lieutenant, who was actually knocked down by a falling fence, according to police video and reports released Friday.
There hasn’t been another Albuquerque police shooting in recent memory in which that many officers fired their weapons, said Celina Espinoza, a police spokeswoman. The department is implementing reforms under a consent decree with the Department of Justice that aims to curb the number of police shootings, including shooting at moving vehicles. Today on Survival Saturday, we have a series of stories that could all be headlined, “What could possibly go wrong?” Do you remember the reality show by that name, where a couple of guys apply science and logic to ill-conceived ideas and explain exactly what could go wrong when you power a skateboard with homemade rockets? Perhaps our future doom won’t be caused by some kind of epic disaster, but by the unwillingness of the people to actually accept reality and apply logic to it.
Survival Saturday is a round-up of the week’s news and resources for folks who are interested in being prepared. Continue reading “Survival Saturday: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?”

At age 57 the artist Prince was found dead after suffering from a Flu-Like illness that started on April 15th. Two weeks ago Merle Haggard passed due to “Flu.” Both of these very public figures have been outspoken about GeoEngineering (Chemtrails) in their music and media interviews. Is there a connection? You decide.
Two weeks ago we did an article about Chemtrail Flu that included speculation about Haggard’s death in relation to his publicly speaking out about GeoEngineering. (Link is highlighted) Continue reading “Prince & Merle Haggard Dead from Flu – The Chemtrail Connection”
PEEBLES, Ohio — A “murderer or murderers” massacred eight members of a Pike County family in a series of targeted, “execution-style” killings, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said Friday.

Somebody screwed up at the United States Army Garrison (USAG) in Hohenfels, Germany the other day because I am relatively sure that an airdropped Humvee is not supposed to move towards the ground quite that quickly. Someone in the 173rd Airborne Brigade probably has some explaining to do.
As posted on the U.S. Army WTF Moments Facebook page and highlighted by Foxtrot Alpha, the botched airdrop lead to the free fall and subsequent destruction of three Humvees. You can watch all of them absolutely crater below, but just brace yourself for some colorful language as the cameraman cheers on the vehicular carnage: Continue reading “Botched Airdrop Sends Humvees Plummeting To Their Doom”
While campaigning for her mother recently, Chelsea Clinton admitted that the left is planning to use the Supreme Court to enact greater gun control if a Democrat wins the presidency this fall.

When you testify before Congress, it helps to actually have some knowledge of what you’re talking about. On Tuesday, the House Energy & Commerce Committee held the latest congressional hearing on the whole silly encryption fight, entitled Deciphering the Debate Over Encryption: Industry and Law Enforcement Perspectives. And, indeed, they did have witnesses presenting “industry” and “law enforcement” views, but for unclear reasons decided to separate them. First up were three “law enforcement” panelists, who were free to say whatever the hell they wanted with no one pointing out that they were spewing pure bullshit. You can watch the whole thing below (while it says it’s 4 hours, it doesn’t actually start until about 45 minutes in): Continue reading “Why Did Congress Let Law Enforcement Officials Lie About Encryption?”
