Six military personnel have been killed and one seriously wounded in an explosion that hit a military convoy in the southeast of Turkey, the armed forces said in a statement. The convoy was traveling along a highway linking Diyarbakir and Bingol.

KANSAS CITY, MO  Retired union workers facing large pension cuts gathered to voice their anger at those cuts Tuesday.

Representative Emanuel Cleaver conducted the town hall meeting.

Local media reported the “Department of Energy awarded Carrier $5.1 million in clean energy tax credits in December 2013” for its Indianapolis facility.
