A powerful storm system in Southern California caused flash flooding and mudslides in Los Angeles County on Thursday, stranding drivers and triggering a variety of severe weather warnings.

The family of a Michigan teen who flashed a car’s brights at a sheriff sergeant’s SUV and wound up dead filed a wrongful death lawsuit Wednesday.

A complaint on behalf of slain 17-year-old Deven Guilford accuses Eaton County Sheriff’s Sgt. Charleston, SC — The owner of a Charleston small business decided he was going to show that cops are not above the law.

In this video, Chad Walton of CWR Racing hooks his winch to a police cruiser that was parked illegally behind his business, with every intention of towing it to his facility. According to the posted sign, once an illegally parked vehicle is hooked for towing, it costs $250 to unhook. A 26 year old man from New York Jumped off a Marriott high rise hotel building in San Francisco Sunday. Alexander Damhuis from Brooklyn, who was staying at the hotel for a medical conference, committed suicide on Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m. Damhuis died immediately after landing on a 5th floor deck. A hotel housekeeper was later reported missing by coworkers, but was later found in the room where Damhuis stayed – nearly strangled nearly to death, raped and brutalized. She is in critical condition at San Francisco General Hospital.

Tesla’s latest software update may bring us one step closer to having self-driving cars on the road. While cars with the new software are not autonomous, they undoubtedly impress with their ability to change lanes and park themselves.

The software is going to be publicly available for Tesla Model S and Model X owners on Thursday.
